Loki's p.o.v

I slowly made my way back to Stark's tower following another disastrous date. I had hoped that this time,our fourth date would be a lot better but no it was getting worse. You see my brother Thor had set me up with a friend of his called Hilary Montgomery and she is a nightmare. You might be wondering why I put up with Hilary if she is so bad,the answer is simple. I'm doing it for Thor.

Ever since I have been seeing Hilary,my relationship with Thor has improved a great deal and I don't wish to ruin it by ending things with Hilary even though I can't stand her. She is so bossy and demanding, its like today's date. Hilary told me what to wear,what to eat and who to talk with. She said that to me,a God the nerve of her.

I knew know one would be in the tower,as they are on a mission so I have the place to myself. Or so I thought,I exited the elevator and could hear loudish rock music coming from the living area. At first I thought it was Stark back,but then I heard terrible singing and the voice is of a woman. Curious I made my way towards the sound and what I saw made my mood so much better.

My best friend Y/n L/n is in the living room jumping around and trying to sing to her favorite rock band Linkin Park. I couldn't help but smile as she screamed along with lead singer Chester,whilst F.R.I.D.A.Y sung along with Mike. I am glad the two of them haven't noticed me yet,I know Y/n wouldn't mind me watching its just there is something about seeing Y/n being so carefree makes my heart happy.

Y/n's P.O.V

As the song finished I heard someone say
"Do you do encores?" I turned from place stood on the sofa and saw my best friend Loki watching me from the door way
"Loki,when did you get back?" I ask the god jumping off the sofa
"Mmm about 10 minutes ago" Loki says grinning down at me,as he walks over to me.

"How's your day been?" I ask,I notice Loki's smile falter slightly at my question
"I'd rather not talk about it now" Loki says" Can we just hang out?"
"Sure,what do want to do?" I ask the trickster
"Let's just watch movies until we fall asleep" Loki suggested
"Sounds like a plan.

No's P.O.V

And that is what the two friends did,Y/n and Loki sat side by side on the sofa watching movies. From the scary horror movies to the side splitting comedies as well. Eventually the two friends fell asleep together, with Loki laying down on the sofa and Y/n with her head resting on his chest. The god had his arms wrapped around the woman protectively as they slept.

The morning arrived along with the rest of the Avengers back from there mission and they where greeted by the sight of the two friends fast asleep. Tony,Bruce,Natasha, Clint,Steve and Thor all stood looking down at the sofa,Tony spoke first
"Damn Romanoffa you where right, Reindeer Games and N/n did hook up after all"
"I guess we owe you $10" Clint adds.

"I don't think they did anything, there clothes are still in place" Steve says
"We should leave them to sleep" Bruce says,but at that moment Loki opens his eyes and glares at the others around him
"Do you people mind" he says angrily
"Sorry to disturb your fun" Clint says smirking
"What are blabbering about, I was asleep" Loki says to the archer.

Loki's P.O.V

"If you say so" Tony adds
"Brother what is this?" Thor asks,I look down at Y/n and gently move her to the side and stand up in front of Thor
"We need to talk" I say,I walk out of the living area with Thor and the others following behind me. I lead them to a room down the corridor, once inside I turn to face the others. I had thought things over last night and have decided to tell Thor the truth.

"I hadn't planned on the audience for this conversation" I begin
"What is going on?" Thor asks me
"I don't like Hilary,she is bossy,loud and rude" I say
"What's the problem then" Clint asks
"She told me we where going to have six kids,a home and my job all before we ordered our drinks" I explain
"Wow that's bad" Natasha says
"So lady Montgomery is a bit much,you will get used to it" Thor says.

"I don't want to get used to her,I hate her" I say annoyed
"How long have you hated her?" Thor asks
"Since I first met her" I say
"Then why not say so?" Steve asks,I didn't want to say the reason
"Because he is getting along better with Point Break" Tony points out
"And it was Thor that put them together in the first place" Bruce adds.

"This is true brother?" Thor asks
"It is" I admit"I only keep going out with Hilary to make you happy "
"And in doing so you put your own feelings to the side" Natasha says
"What feelings,Loki has no feelings" Thor says seemingly annoyed with me.

No's P.O.V

"His feelings for Y/n" Natasha tells Thor,who looks to his brother for confirmation who says
"Its true,I do have feelings for Y/n"
"But Y/n said she doesn't date friends, it would be a bad idea." Tony says
"Which is why I agreed to date Hilary, knowing I had no chance with Y/n" Loki says
"Have you actually told Y/n how you feel?" Steve asks.
"No I haven't" Loki says
"Tell her" Bruce says "Things might be different"

Y/n's P.O.V

I woke up to find Loki not beside me,I sat up thinking he must have gone to do something. I made my way down the corridor to my room. On the way I hear talking coming from one of the other rooms
"Must be the others back" I think,I carried on to my room where I showered and changed my clothes. I then headed to the kitchen to get breakfast and then went back to my room.

By the time I had eaten breakfast the talking I had heard from before had stopped,and the corridor is silent. I had just reached my door when I hear someone approaching from behind me. I turn my head and see that it is Tony
"If the two of you want to go at it,then try to keep the noise down" Tony says as he walks past,not knowing what he meant I walked into my room and saw Loki sat on my bed.

"Morning Loki" I say as I walk over to my bed
"Is it alright if we talk?" Loki asks,he looked somewhat nervous
"Sure,what would you like to talk about?" I ask
"Remember when you said to Steve that you don't date friends, did you fully mean that?" Loki asks
"At the time I did,but now...not any more" I say.

"Would that mean you have feelings for one of your friends?" Loki asks
"I do actually, but....he...he's got a beautiful girlfriend" I say sadly,Loki looks at me fully and says
"Y/n I want you to forget about this guy and go on a date with me" I sit there shocked at Loki's sudden announcement. I didn't think he liked me that way as he is with Hilary.

"But Loki you are that guy" I tell him
"I am?" Loki asks,I nod"I see,Y/n you must know that Hilary means nothing to me. I only ever agreed to go out with her to better my relationship with Thor and because you said you didn't date friends "Loki explained
"Why would you do that?" I ask him
"Well me and Thor have never had a good brotherly relationship and I thought dating his friend would help,even if it made me unhappy. I had you as my best friend to keep me happy"

"I would love to go on a date with you Loki" I tell him happily
"Like you could ever say no to me" Loki says arrogantly "Now come here" and with that Loki pulled me onto his lap and kissed me roughly on the mouth,I sighed happily as I kissed him back. Knowing that things would be a lot better being with Loki,I guess dating a friend wont be so bad after all.
