Whis 2

There isn't much that can top a day at the beach, sunshine,blue skies,good friends,plenty of ice cream and lots of fun. It had been Bulma's idea to spend the day at the beach,she had suggested it as a way for Vegeta and Goku to spend time with their families. So it's Bulma,Vegeta,Trunks and baby Bulla and Chi Chi,Goku,Goten,Gohan,Videl and Pan. Oh and there's me,I'm not actually realted to any of them but I'm like a sister to Goku and to Vegeta as well but he doesn't like to admit it.

I'm a mixture of them both,a bit arrogant and aggressive like Vegeta and also friendly and oblivious sometimes like Goku. As with some family day's out,an impromptu volleyball tournament had broken out amongst us. It is Goku and Gohan Vs me and Videl,Chi Chi and Bulma are watching from the side with the children and Vegeta. Even though the four of us aren't that good at volleyball we still had fun. Well when the game was actually played.

Most of the time Vegeta was shouting at Goku and Gohan on what they should be doing better,but when we did actually play we had fun. We took a break for lunch and got a suprise visit from Lord Beerus and his attendant Whis. Apparently they had come because Beerus wanted to have a beach day,but I knew they had both come for the Ice Cream. I mean who doesn't love Ice cream?

Y/n's P.O.V

I had just finished eating my fourth ice cream and was getting ready to play some more volleyball,when I overheard Vegeta trash talking me to Bulma. It was what Vegeta did often,trash talk either me or Goku
"If you think your so good Vegetable,why don't you play instead?" I say
"What did you call me?"Vegta said
"You heard me cabbage head"I say
"You dare mock the mighty Sayian prince?"Vegtea said angry
"Yes I dare sprout"I say confidently.

"If you two Sayian hot heads don't cool it,I will have Whis put you both in a time out"Bulma said to us both,Vegeta glared at me and I smirked back at him. I turned away from the angry prince and made my over to Videl,I got half way when a Ki blast hit me in the legs. I fell on the sand,I knew it had been Vegeta that had hit me. I flung a Ki blast back at him, hitting him in the face
"Come at me"Vegeta said standing in a fighting stance
"Bring it on turnip head"I said also getting ready,only we are pushed apart by an annoyed Bulam.

"I told you to cool it,this a family day not a fighting day"the blue haired woman said angrily. I was then teleported to sit beside Whis and Vegeta beside Beerus,who had been hoping for a fight
"Thanks a lot vegetable head,now I'm going to miss out on the fun"I say annoyed
"This is all your fault Y/n"Vegeta snapped at me,I stuck my tongue out at him and then addressed the angel beside me
"So Whis,how are you?"
"I'm am enjoying my self Y/n,today has been most splendid"Whis said smiling.

"Yeah it was fun for me as well,until grouchy over there got me in trouble"I said
"Well you and Vegeta are alike in that way"Whis said"You are both proud Sayians"
"That's true but I know how to have fun as well"I say"Although Bulma says I'm oblivious sometimes as well, thought to what I don't know" Whis sat looking at me for a few moments before saying
"Would you excuse me Y/n,I wish to speak with Bulma"
"Okay"I say relaxing on the sun lounger.

I sat watching as Beerus made Vegeta fetch things for him,I did try and think on what Bulma had meant by me being oblivious but I had no clue what she had been on about. A few moments later Whis came back over to me and said
"Would you care to accompany me on a walk lady Y/n?"
"Sure why not"I say getting to my feet,Whis and I walk off up the beach further away from the others. The two of us walked in silence for a time,Whis with his arms behind his back and no staff and me looking out over the water.

"I have to admit lady Y/n that I do have an alterea motive for asking you to come with me"Whis said
"That's okay Whis,I forgive you"I say distracted by my own thoughts,I don't notice that Whis had stopped infront of me until I walk into him"what did you stop for,did you see something?" I ask,Whis looked like he was about to say something but I turned back to the water to think more on my previous idea. Whis reached out and turned my head back towards him
"Y/n I need you to focus on me ok" Whis said.

"Kay"I say looking up at the tall angel,his blue skin a more beautiful shade of blue than the sea and his lovely purple eyes sparkled in the sun light"what can I do for you?"
"Oh Y/n you don't know what you do to me,what you mean to me"Whis said,his large hands on my face to keep me looking at only him. I couldn't look away even if I wanted to and I don't,but why?
"I haven't done anything bad to you have I?"I ask worriedly
"No it's nothing bad,in fact it's all good" Whis said.

"Ok good, because if I had..."I began only to be cut off mid sentence by Whis leaning down and kissing me on the lips. Who knew being kissed by an angel would be so well heavenly,as with everything Whis does his kiss is also gentle. We pulled apart eventually from the kiss
"Now do you understand what Bulam had meant?" Whis asked
"Yeah I was oblivious to you wanting to kiss me"I say, making Whis laugh
"Not exactly Y/n,I like you in the same way Goku likes Chi Chi and Bulma likes Vegeta"Whis said.

"Oh Whis how sweet" I say to the angle
"So you understood what I mean?" Whis asks
"Yeah you want to marry me" I say
"Well...no...I mean..." Whis stuttered "For now let's say we are courting"
"Okay" the two of us head back along the beach to the others,I held onto Whis's arm"Do you think Beerus will disapprove?"
"I don't think he will,as long as I still tend to him he will be fine" Whis said
"He probably won't like the fact that you will get more attention than him"I say.

"True but Lord Beerus prefers fear over attention" Whis says
"Do we tell the others?"I ask looking up at Whis
"Not straight away my sweet,we will in time."
