Elrond 2.

The hour is late as I made my way down the long corridor, the people of Rivendell had long since gone to bed even the moon had left the sky. I knew for a fact the lord of Rivendell is still awake,he just doesn't know when to stop working for the night and get some well earned rest. As I neared his study I thought back on the day,and realized that Elrond had been working hard all day. I sighed to myself seeing the light on under the door as I finally reached his study.

I didn't bother knocking as I know Elrond will be to busy with his work to answer,I opened the door and walked straight in. Elrond is stood in front of his desk looking over a old map with several books littering the table. I closed the door behind me and crossed the room to him,I waited to see if he noticed me. I glanced at the map but couldn't really make it out as it is upsidedown.

"Elrond" I say trying to get the elf's attention
"Hmm?" came the replie,step one complete. Elrond knows he has company
"Do you know what time it is?" I say to him
"...not the best path..." The elf lord said picking up the map for a closer look. I rolled my eyes and took the map from his hands and held it behind my back. It takes him a few seconds to notice the map had left his hands.

"Y/n have you seen a map?I swear I just had one?" Elrond asks finally paying attention-ish
"Yes my love,I have the map" I say"But you cant have it back"
"Why not?" Elrond asks stepping out from behind the desk,no doubt to take the map from me. I turn so my back and the map are to his desk,and he is in front of me
"Because you have worked for far to many hours today,and you need to sleep" I tell him.

"If you give me back the map,I will finish what I am doing and join you in bed" Elrond said
"Do you think I was born yesterday, I know you won't leave this map alone until you are satisfied with it" I say
"Please my dear give me the map back,it isn't even that late" Elrond said holding out his hand for the paper
"Elrond it is 3 in the morning" I say firmly"
"Is it really,I thought it to only be midnight" Elrond said.

"Yes it is really 3,if you don't go to sleep now you won't at all. I won't have you going without sleep,it isn't healthy" I tell my husband, Elrond lowers his hand
"You are right my love,being awake this long isn't healthy at all. I am sorry"I put the map onto his desk and move closer to him
"I know how important your work is but sleep is also as important" I say wrapping my arms around the elf lords neck.

"I don't know what I would do without" Elrond said smiling
"You won't even have to worry about that" I say "Now time to sleep" we leave the study and walk down the empty corridor to our bedroom. The journey didn't take to long and we soon arrived at our room. Whilst Elrond got ready for bed,I took my place in the bed as I am already in my nightwear.

I laid down on the cold sheet's enjoying the comfort of the soft bedding,as Elrond makes his way over to the bed I say
"I don't understand why you want to be awake for so long,this bed is unbelievably comfortable. If I could I'd stay here all day"
"Its not that I don't like sleep my love,I just lose track of the time a lot" Elrond said as he joined me in bed.

"Yet you have a clock in your study" I remind him
"Maybe you can give me a reason to come to bed earlier?" Elrond said rather suggestively
"Your flirting doesn't mean you are off the hook,my Lord" I tell the handsome elf lord
"Doesn't it?" Elrond asks leaning in closer to me
"No it doesn't" I say pushing him onto his back"No kisses until you've been to sleep" I hear Elrond laugh
"Okay my Darling you win."
