Twenty Two - The Return & Brave New World

Damon and Erica ran into the kitchen to see John lying on the ground with a knife in his stomach.

"John oh my god," Damon says as he grabs a towel and puts it on his wound

"Stay with me understand" Erica says taking over as Damon called the ambulance as it arrived to pick up John. 

Erica went to the hospital with John and waited outside as he was in surgery. She closed her eyes until she heard Damon so she opened her eyes and got up. He smiled sadly at her and hugged her 

"He'll be okay, he'll be okay," Damon says 

"Not the best time when you wake up first thing in the morning. But what are you doing here," Erica asks 

"Came to confront your sister," Damon says "you should head home and get ready for the mayors funeral and then head to the Gilbert house , I'll stay with John for now. We need to talk to Elena and Stefan hmm"

Erica nods and heads out to get ready for the funeral before getting to the Gilbert house where she hears Stefan and Elena arguing with Damon.

"Will you guys ever shut it. It's only," she says as she looks at her phone then to the pair "noon"

"Did you know," Stefan asks ignoring what Erica says 

"What," Erica asks 

"That Damon kissed Elena or so he thought it was Elena when it was really Katherine," Stefan says but goes into shock when Erica back slaps him in the face making her eyes glow dark purple 

"Damon never kissed Elena or Katherine," she  says making him and Elena look to her "Katherine was the one who pushed herself onto Damon. Now if you ever believe or say such stupid things again your done Hmm" 

Stefan nods as Elena sits beside him as Erica looked to Damon.

"What are we gonna do about it now. She's been invited in and I'm pretty sure it wasn't me because the person in the house before me was John or Jenna," Erica says 

"Move," Damon says 

"Not really helping," Elena says but shuts up when Damon glares at her and starts walking to her but is stopped by Erica.

"Not worth it," Erica says as Damon sighs 

"Look Katherine wants Elena dead and there's nothing you can do about it, she should be dead. But she isn't and after observing last night she's taking an interest in you and the little one so that means she has other plans" Damon says 

"Well we need to know about these other plans are. She said she fooled one of us being since she pretended to be Elena with you and me" Stefan says as Damon points his finger at Stefan 

"Shut up I'm not talking to you. I'm talking to Erica," Damon says as he starts to walk over to Stefan who gulped "and I couldn't really care less if Katherine goes after your whore but if she goes after Erica, her baby, Jeremy, Jenna, or Alaric then I will hand Elena to Katherine her self and be in my Mary way so zip it" 

Stefan nods as Damon looks to Erica who sighs and looks to him 

"John must know something if she tried to kill him," Erica says
