You were sitting on a bench in the park, your expression clouded with sadness, and I knew something was terribly wrong.

With a lump in my throat, I mustered the courage to ask what was troubling you.

Your voice trembled as you looked at me, barely able to get the words out.

"I-it's my t-time to go ba-ack," you stuttered, and my heart shattered into a million pieces.

I couldn't bear the thought of you leaving.

Desperate to express my feelings before it was too late, I blurted out, "I-I l-lo-ve Y-You."

My words hung in the air, heavy with hope and fear.

I dared to glance up, praying for a response, but all I heard was the sound of your quiet sobs.

And then, to my utter disbelief, you wrapped your arms around me in a tight embrace and whispered those three words I had been longing to hear.

"I LOVE YOU TOO!"
