Jake moved to Korea months ago and since then he's been going to this hellhole. He hates every second of it. Not only because of the stress, hateful teachers, homework and boredom... No, that was only why he hated going to school. But this school was different. When he first stood outside of it, it seemed beautiful. He sighed as he realized maybe it's not gonna be that bad. But as he went inside, everything turned to the worse.

The school bully picked Jake to make his life miserable. And of course it was easy to do since Jake was a kind soul, and he always kept his mouth shout since he didn't want any trouble especially because of his past. I mean, he's still the new kid and what if he gets in a fight or worse? On the other hand he was mentally strong so he decided to ignore all those hurtful remarks.

That worked for a while. But then the bullies started to physically hurt Jake. Of course not in front of the whole school, sometimes in the bathroom, or behind the school where not a single soul was. One time it got to the point that Jake's nose broke. He didn't tell his parents, he didn't want their pity. Jake didn't have any friends because everyone thought he was rude (cause the bullies made him out to be and when Jake got angry...it was hell) plus he liked being alone so he kept all these things and happenings to himself which effected his studies and his whole life.

He brought paprika spray, and little knives with himself to school (which was surely illegal) but he had to protect himself. He didn't wanna end up in hospital or worse... die.
When the bullies hurt him, he fought back. He didn't like to hurt anyone, but the bullies brought out this side of him. Again. Shame was something he never felt about himself until now.

It's monday. Start off a new week. Jake sighed as he walked in. He got his books out of his locker and started walking to his classroom. His hand was still hurting because two days ago one of the bullies stepped on it. It maybe broke but he didn't wanna go to the hospital again. He was afraid the hospital will call his parents at this rate. It was like his second home.

-Just avoid eye contact.-he whispered to himself looking at the floor. He tried to walk as fast as he can.
But he walked into someone and all his books fell on the floor.
-I am sorry.-apologized Jake immediately and bent down to pick up his books.
-It's okay.-said the guy as he sighed and helped Jake picking up his books.
Jake looked up and saw Sunghoon.
-Damn it.-Jake whispered.
Little backstory... When Jake first got here he immediately noticed Sunghoon. He was handsome, a troublemaker, funny just the type of guy everyone falls for... and when Jake was first bullied behind the school, Sunghoon was there. He was outside smoking a cigarette behind the tree when saw this whole thing. Jake noticed him after the bullies went away. But Sunghoon just ran away kinda. Jake was mad at him for not helping. Since then he was always glaring at Sunghoon or teased him. Of course he didn't want to bully him... but he just hated that guy for what he did. Or what he didn't do. Help him. Sunghoon act like he didn't hear the remarks in the beginning cause he deserve that, but after a while it got annoying. That's why they become enemies. Back to the story.
As Sunghoon saw Jake. He sighted and practically threw the books in Jake's hands. He saw the scar on Jake's hand. He didn't wanna question it, it wasn't his problem and Jake wouldn't tell him anyway.
-Go.-said Sunghoon as Jake was still in his way.
-You go.-said Jake with the same tone.
-Ch.-smirked Sunghoon then as he walked away he pushed Jake by the shoulder a bit.
-Fucking idiot.-whispered Jake and he continued his way to class.

*2 weeks later*

Sunghoon just had to say it. It was unfair and he couldn't keep it to himself.
-I'm sorry Mr.-he said and he stood up making everyone look at him. He didn't like the attention but he hated unfairness more.-You can't just give everyone a bad grade because you were a bad teacher and didn't announce the exam, maybe a day earlier. I studied hard despite the little time and I'm sure everyone did the same.
-No. -laughed a few of his classmates but Sunghoon just rolled his eyes.
-At least let us do a make up test.-he sighed looking at the teacher, while he dangled the paper in his hand. His eyes didn't show any emotion, his voice wasn't filled with anger. He was just like that and the teacher hated that. He was always bored, and lazy, not showing any emotions even when saying speeches like that.

-Sunghoon. I'm running out of patience here.-said the teacher angrily as he slammed his hand on the table.-I just want one class where you're not interrupting me with your problems.
-I wouldn't have to interrupt if you had done your job. As a teacher.-he said kinda sarcastically.
-Detention. -shouted the teacher.-I don't even want to see your face today. Get out.
Sunghoon slowly packed his things and walked out.
-Sunghoon... this guy did it again.
-He just never shouts his mouth, does he?
-He's so annoying oh my god.
-Why don't he just move in to the detention room?
Whispered a few of Sunghoon's classmates.

As you figured, Sunghoon has been going to the detention a lot. It was already the second time this week. He couldn't help it, he just had to speak up. And the teacher were too sensitive by the way.
-Park Sunghoon.-he said his name as he walked into the detention room in front of the teacher. This school had a seperate teacher just to supervise the detention. Sunghoon always thought that was weird.
-Again?-asked the teacher while writing down something.-You're going to get kicked out of the school.
-You don't have to worry about me Mrs. Kim.-Sunghoon said while the teacher just shook his head.

He sat down on his usual seat and opened a book. He liked reading especially crime or horror stories. Nothing exciting was happening in his life and that's how he kept himself content. He felt like he was living as he was reading them. That's why he wanted to be a cop, or a writer when he grows up.

He was really into the book so he didn't notice when someone sat down next to him. The someone got his airpods out and started listetning to music which was so loud it made him annoyed. He looked up and it was Jake obviously.

I didn't proofread it sorry for any mistakes.
