UNO

-Jake, it's good to see you.-said one of the bullies as Jake entered the cabin. Everyone was sitting in a circle with a box in the center.

The bully had a scar on his face because of what happened a few days ago in the woods.

-Sit down. You're the last one.-said a girl and Jake sat between her and another girl.

-Hello, I'm Jake.-he introduced himself smiling and everyone smiled back. Except the bully, he was just looking angry at Jake.
Jake felt bad because he knew what happems if he doesn't win, the others just thought it was a simple game.

They opened a box and there were UNO cards in it with a paper.

A guy with glasses took the paper and read it out loud.
-Dear players, you will be playing 6 games of UNO tonight. Your task is to write up the names of the winners every round. If anyone cheats they will be punished. Good game.

Jake sighed.
'Okay, I played a lot of UNO when I was a child. I know a lot of strategies, I can win.'

And then the game begin.

Sunghoon was in the same team as the girl who wanted to kiss him.
-Amazing.-whispered Sunghoon as he sat down.

Their game was Monopoly. Sunghoon has played it a few times but he forgot the rules. He wasn't confident in winning but he wanted to succeed.
They had to play 3 games since Monopoly is longer than usual games so he had to at least win 2. He had to concentrate.

-Hey, so are you single?-asked the girl getting closer to Sunghoon.
-Oh my god.-mouthed Sunghoon as he turned to the girl. He smiled at her and tried to be as nice as he could.
-Yes I am, but I like someone.-he said and he continued to focus on the game.

-And? Is she better than me?-she whispered as she put her hand on his leg.
-Listen, leave me alone. I don't want anything to do with you.-said Sunghoon a bit louder this time putting the girl's hand away.-And it's a he by the way.

Everyone was a bit shocked but they continued the game.

'If they only knew what's at stake. They would focus on the game. But can't everybody win sadly....' thought Sunghoon and he wished his friends and Jake are winning.

-Jake win's again. I can't believe it.-sighed a guy who seemed like a nerd.
-I'm sorry I'm too good.-laughed Jake. He was so happy he was winning. He won 3 rounds out of 4. -I'm going to the toilet just a second. Write up my name please.

As Jake went away the bully picked up the paper and a pen.
-No way I'm gonna write down his name. That idiot deserves it.-he whispered to himself as he wrote his own name on the paper.

Jake got back and the game continued.

-Okay Jake won.-smiled the girl as he congratulated Jake.-You're good.
-Thank you. But I have to go. Give the paper to Juyeon.-he said and he ran away to check on Sunghoon.

-Don't worry I will.-smiled the bully and he went to find Juyeon.

Sunghoon lost. He won only one game. Everyone won one so they had to play one more to decide on who wins.
He was scared.
He stood up and he felt dizzy all of a sudden.

-Sunghoon, are you okay?-asked Hueningkai. He was on the same team with him.

Sunghoon couldn't walk, he felt like the room was spinning. Hueningkai ran up to him and put his arm around his shoulder.
-Is it your head? T-the wound? Or something else?-he asked as he helped Sunghoon lay down on the sofa.
-I-I don't know.-said Sunghoon as he tried to focus.

Jake ran into the cabin and saw the situation.
-Hey Sunghoon.-he shouted.-What is happening?-he asked Hueningkai as he got Sunghoon a water.
-I don't know. He's dizzy I think he's havin a panic attack.-said Hueningkai.
-Get Juyeon. Now.-shouted Jake and helped Sunghoon.

-It's me. Everything's okay.-said Jake holding Sunghoon's hand and tried to calm him down.
-I-I lost.-said Sunghoon trying to take big breaths.
-It's not the end of the world. It's one game. You know I'll protect you from anything.-said Jake as he cupped Sunghoon's face. -Look at me and take deep breaths.

-I can't. -he said panicking checking his own pulse.

Then Jake did a thing that may have been the best solution he could've thought of in the moment.
He kissed Sunghoon.

It only lasted a few seconds but Sunghoon was surprised so that took away his attention from panicking.

As they parted, the door swung open with Juyeon and their friends running inside.

Jake was surprised so just quickly sat next to Sunghoon. But everyone saw what happened obviously.

-Sunghoon, you okay? You need something?-asked Juyeon checking Sunghoon's head.
-Really? He's the one you turned to?-asked Sunghoon finally calming down. -Yes I'm fine I was having a panic attack.

-Why?-asked Juyeon as the others were standing trying to give Sunghoon space.
-Funny.-laughed Sunghoon as he gulped down the water and walked away holding Jake's arm.

-I didn't win and I like winning.-he simply said as he went out with Jake.

-Wow that was dramatic.-said Jake trying to not laugh.
-Shut up.-shook Sunghoon his head while looking at Jake.-Thank you for helping me.
-Of course. Anytime.-smiled Jake as he thought about the kiss.
