The Truth

-Why did you kill Hyunsuk?-asked Sunoo standing next to Jay almost making a circle around Yeonjun and Juyeon.

Instead of denying it Yeonjun just laughed. It was a real sick laugh which only a psychopath could make.
Jake just got goosebumps hearing that so he snuggled closer to Sunghoon.
-It's okay. Everything's okay.-he whispered into Sunghoon's ear while patting his head.

He knew there was some unresolved issue between them but Jake was ready to take a bullet for Sunghoon and protect him. Yes, he was that crazy for him...

-He was ready to tell all campers about the secrets here. He was too much of a pussy to be a campleader here, even though he was here last year. Guess he just couldn't take it.-explained Yeonjun as he looked around smiling.

-I'm sorry but it's too funny you look like little kids playing with a toy gun.-said Yeonjun but Juyeon pushed him a little.
-Can you take this a little more seriously? Those are real guns.-he said with fear in his voice.

-No, I'm totally serious.-he said doing a poker face. -I'm ready for the next question.
Jake just rolled his eyes. He couldn't believe how Yeonjun was acting and the situation he was in. It's was like a freaking horror movie.

-Why did you do that to Sunghoon?-asked Jake but Yeonjun couldn't see him because the others were in the way. They all slowly stepped aside and Yeonjun looked at Jake.

-Ahww, aren't you guys cute?-said Yeonjun with a baby voice.-Our camp's first couple.

-Why did you do that?-asked Jake standing up and running up to Yeonjun. He grabbed his gun and pointed at his head.-Don't fuck with me, understood?

Jake was mad. And when Jake was mad it was scary. More scary than the others because he was always a calm, kind person. Even Yeonjun shut up.

-I thought he saw me killing Hyunsuk. Plus he deserved it, he was annoying.-answered Yeonjun but that was probably a bad idea because Jake shot Yeonjun leg.

-What the fuck Jake?-shouted Jay. And everyone else stood in shock. Sunghoon woke up because of the loud sound and he couldn't even digest the situation.

-What happened?-he asked in shock as he saw blood on the floor.
Jake rushed to his side and tried to calm him down.
-I-I shot Yeonjun...I didn't want to... he just made me mad.-Jake said panicking while holding Sunghoon's hands.-It's gonna be okay, trust me.

Sunghoon took deep breaths. He didn't judge Jake, he was mad and he couldn't control himself. It happens. Althought that was the original plan; use the gun if you have to.
Jake shouldn't have used that because Yeonjun answered, he just didn't like the answer.

-While you're in pain.-said Jay. -Answer our questions or you'll get more bullets.
-Psychopaths.-shouted Juyeon at them.
-Us? Rather you. You are the ones who kill students because they did a few mischievous thing. -laughed Heeseung and the others nodded.

-You are not even human.-smiled Niki.-You deserve death. But we won't kill you.
-How can we get out of here without killing or torturing anyone?

Jake was still in shock, he was having a panic attack. Sunghoon was hugging him trying to calm him down.
-It's okay, it's okay Jakey.-he whispered while patting his back. -You did nothing wrong.
-I used a gun...-he said while catching his breath. He couldn'g breath properly.
-But on a bad person.-said Sunghoon trying to justify him.
He knew what Jake did was not the most ideal thing, but he was ready to protect him even if he was in the wrong.

-Those who lose, will be killed. It's that simple.-said Juyeon because Yeonjun was too much in pain he couldn't speak.
-How can you even run this camp? How doesn't the government knows about this?-asked Jay this time angry. He was getting tired of this.
-The government wanted to run this camp you idiots.-shouted Juyeon.-They wanted to get rid of the bad kids in secret.

-You said what?-asked Jungwon. Everyone was shocked.

Juyeon took a deep breath then started explaining.
-South Korea is known for having a good educational system, hardworking kids studying all day for exams, and following rules and everything. Plus the population is massively growing so they decided to found a camp in secret where they can get rid of troubled kids. It's good for the country they said. That's it.

Everyone was listening and trying to make something out of the information they just heard. It was absurd.

-We live in a fucked up world.-sighed Jay as he sat down on the floor.
-Is this the truth?-asked Sunoo for the nth time.
-Yes it is.-answered Juyeon for the nth time. -And now if you're done, I need to get him out of here and take care of him.-he sighed as he pointed at Yeonjun. He was already passed out because of the blood loss.

While the others helped the campleaders to get out, he was looking at the floor, sometimes at Sunghoon.
-Don't do that Jake.-said Sunghoon as he grabbed Jake's head to make him look at him.-You did what you had to do. Our lives were at stake.
-Maybe... but I just know I'll think about for the rest of my life.-he sighed as another tear escaped his eyes.
-Let's go back to our room, okay? I'm already better.-smiled Sunghoon and Jake nodded.

-Good night guys. We'll go and sleep, it was a tiring day.-waved Sunghoon and the others nodded as they were cleaning up the blood. Of course they're not gonna ask Sunghoon who was still not healed and neither Jake who was traumatized.

As they went up, they quickly showered and layed down on their beds. Jake brought up some snacks into their room cause he realized they haven't eaten a lot all day.

As they were munching on snacks they talked. Just getting to know a lot about the other while trying to put aside tonight's happenings. They had fun comsidering the situation and they got to know the other better.

They discussed hobbies, family stuff, what they like or dislike, childhood memories, pets.. everything. The only topic they didn't discuss was what was between them. But that's for another day.
