"Uh guys,what's a celestial??"Tanong ni Lynn at mukhang nakareceive rin siya ng parehas na notification.Duke started swiping and tapping on his hologram as we waited for his response.
"Celestials are space gods that watches over planets and its awakeners.Celestials are cosmic entities and spectate solely for entertainment purposes and the pursuit of finding their avatars.Avatars are chosen awakeners by Celestials,they serve as disciples and prophets to spread the Celestials' gospels and influence throughout the planet.This system helps awakeners to become more powerful and this also increase every Celestial's ranks to climb up their hierarchy."Paglalahad ni Duke at nagiisip na tumango tango kami nina Axel at Lynn.
"So it's matter of give and take.They give you support and they let you do things for their accord?"Tanong ko kay Duke.

Matapos naming magpahinga sa sara-sariling bahay ay hinayaan kong maghanda sina Nola at Mina ng salu-salo ngayong gabi.Kasalukuyang nasa bahay kami ngayon nina Uriel,Lynn at Axel kung saan nagaganap ang mumunting party
May mga beers,iba't ibang putahe ng pagkain,snacks,beers at beverages.Nasa iisang table sina Gregor,Reynold at Sir Leon.
Habang sina Asher at Axel naman ay kasama sina Jake,Rios at Reiner.Si Lynn ay nakaupo sa mahabang table nina Nola,Mina,Marga,Claire,Shina at kasama na ang mga bata.
Nilapitan ko si Uriel na tahimik na nasa gilid ng gate habang nakatingin sa nakalutang na baso na may lamang soft drinks."Hey."Tawag ko sa kaniya.
Bumaba ang baso sa kamay niya at sumimsim siya dito."Hi."Tipid na sagot niya.Hinarap ko ang mga kasamahan namin at uminom sa beer na hawak ko.
"I hope we can stay like this."Wika ko habang pinanood na magtawanan sina Sir Leon,magkwentuhan sina Lynn at Mina at magbiruan sina Axel at Asher.
"Things can be always temporary."Wika naman niya at nilingon ko siya."The planet is dying and the population is plummeting.We have no choice but to fight so we can survive."Dagdag niya.
"You're right."Sumang-ayon ako."The world is changing right before our eyes."Dagdag ko.
"I don't understand why is this happening."Uriel stated and clicked his tongue."Sometimes i feel like i'm dreaming......or i'm just having a nightmare."Dagdag niya at tumingin sa akin.
I didn't said anything.I finished my beer and tossed it in the near trash can.I thought he's just an emotionless and a cold person but now i i can see that he feels the same frustration and denial that everyone doest,even me.
"It's a bitter-sweet nightmare."Wika ko at tumango siya bago sumimsim muli sa inumin niya."Did you ate already?"Tanong ko at tumango lang siya.
He looked at me for a moment and almost like he's comtemplating about something."What is it?"Tanong ko sa kaniya.
"I want to tell you something."Sambit niya at nilagay ang basa sa malapit na table.Lumabas siya ng gate at kunot noong sinundan ko naman siya.
Nilakad namin ang tahimik na kalsada at nilagpasan ang mga lightpost.Umupo siya sa isang bench at tinabihan ko naman siya.
"About my ability."Panimula niya."It's not actually Telekinesis,it's something else."Diretsong wika niya at nagtatanong na tinitigan ko siya.
"What?"
"My ability is actually to mimic and imitate someone's ability,temporarily and permanently."Sagot niya at nagpatuloy sa pagpapaliwanag ng ability niya.
Kung paano niya nakuha ang current ability niya at kung paano ito gumagana.He explained the technicals of his ability,all of it.I was in a daze while listening to him.
Did i......did i just hit the jackpot?
Tinakpan ko ang bibig ko gamit ang nakakuyom kong kamay.Nagiisip na tumitig ako kay Uriel na naghintay ng sasabihin ko.He waited and allowed me to collect my thoughts.
"Sorry i didn't told you sooner,i'm just being cautious and i'm also concern for myself."Paumanhin niya at umiling ako.
"It's alright,after hearing your explanation i can understand why you hid it from us."Tuluyang nagsalita na ako at tumayo na si kinauupuan.
Tiningala ako ni Uriel at nilahad ang kanang kamay ko sa kaniya."Let's fight together Uriel,let's protect this place and its people from monsters and scumbags."Nakangiting alok ko sa kaniya.
Tipid na ngumiti siya at tinanggap ang kamay ko."Then i'll be in your care."Pagpayag niya at naglakad na kami pabalik sa bahay.
"So you know how to smile after all?"I teasingly raised my eyebrow and smiled.
"I'm still working on it."He sarcastically answered.
"Ahhh,i'm sure it will be hard."
"Yes,thank you for your concern."
"You're welcome."I grinned and chuckled.
"Hey guyss!!"
Sabay na nilingon namin sina Asher,Axel at Lynn na masayang kumakaway sa amin habang naglalakad papalapit sa amin.Kumaway ako
pabalik at ngumiti.
This is just start the of our journey and the path we're going to take will be difficult to walk through.However,i hope that we can pass the odds and the challanges we're going to face together.
