"Just as i thought,you're weak."Sambit ni Bastian sa akin at sinangga ang katana pakanan.Mabilis na sinipa niya ako sa sikmura at napaatras naman ako.

Lightning enveloped my katana and i slashed through the air.Tumama ang kidlat sa harang na ginawa ni Bastian na gawa sa itim na usok ngunit wala paring yangyari.

Damn it.

"How?How do you know me?"Tanong ko sa kaniya na preskong humalukipkip.

Bastian,my mortal enemy in my past life.We were in a competitive relationship and i fought with his crew so many times back then.I remember he kept on interfering with my plans and kept attacking my guild.Axel and Lynn fought beside me in defeating him before the Last Great War.Since then,i never heard of him again then the rest is history.

"You're not the only one who went back in time Duke."Sagot niya at unti unting kumunot ang noo ko sa pagtataka.

"What?"Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko.How?I'm sure i was the only who was given a chance to go back.So how the hell did he regressed?

"After i died during the war,my Celestial gave me a chance to go back in time."Sagot niya at pinakinggan ko naman siya "However,there's a price i needed to pay."Dagdag niya.

"The Celestial demanded my soul as a collateral and to gain it back,i was tasked to fight and win the war."Pagpapatuloy niya.

"Then what the hell is the purpose of fighting us??Did you just taunted so we can have this shit talk?"Galit na tanong ko sa kaniya.

"Oh did i?Did i really started the fight?"Naniniguradong tanong niya at natahimik naman ako.I remembered that Kate was the one who suddenly attacked me then Asher instantly killed Vanica.That started the fight between us.

"You have finally exhausted me,fighting you has become boring."Sambit niya."What i want right now is to become the strongest awakener in this world.After all,i'm stronger than you.....even in the past  am i right?"Tanong niya at tipid na ngumisi siya sa akin.

"Tsk.Hindi lang ikaw ang nagsawa at napagod sa lahat ng nangyari."Singhal ko at nilagay na pabalik ang katana sa kaluban nito.

Humakbang siya papunta sa kinatatayuan ko at tensiyonadong nagtitigan kaming dalawa."I'm ending this worthless charade,you should be thankful."Wika niya at sinamaan ko lang siya ng tingin.

"When we meet again,at least try harder in winning against me.You can't even scratch me with that meager ability of yours."Dagdag pa niya at tinapik ako sa balikat bago siya tumalikod.

"Things will be different from now Bastian."Desididong wika ko."I'll make sure to defeat you....alone and just by myself."Dagdag ko at mahinang tumawa siya.

"We'll see about that."Wika niya at sumakay sa itim na motorbike.Nilingin niya muli ako nang paandarin niya ang motorbike.

"By the way,i never knew someone named Uriel in the past."Wika niya at hindi naman ako nagsalita.Nanunukat na tumingin lang siya sa akin na tila ba may iniisip.

"That's just you."I stated and lied."Where are you going right now?"Interesadong tanong ko sa kaniya.

"To the Institution."Sagot niya at inilingan ko lang siya.

The Institution is a school where awakeners are trained mod their powers to get stronger.It's affiliated with the government and the military.The main purpose of that place is to keep awakeners in check and restrained them with their rules and protocols.That place is also swarming with military soldiers and bunch of doctors who are experimenting on awakeners.

He's desperate.

"Don't get me wrong,i'm not going there to join them."Wika ni Bastian at sinuot ang itim na helmet."I'll conquer that place and collect the awakeners who will be useful by myself."Dagdag niya at walang sabing pinatakbo na paalis ang motorbike niya.

It's a good thing that we finally ended the competition.He also told me some information regarding his regression and his general plan for the future.Nakahinga ako ng maluwag at tila ba nabunutan ako ng tinik sa dibdib.Lumakad na ako pabalik kina Asher at hinanap sila sa malawak na parkling lot.

Bumungad sa akin si Uriel na akay-akay si Asher na walang malay.Mabilis na lumapit ako sa kanila at sinuri ang kondisyon ni Asher.Dumudugo ang noo niya at nilingon ko ang mga bangkay nina Kate at Cain.

They really killed them.

"Where's that man?"Tanong ni Uriel nang magsimula kaming maglakad palabas ng factory.

"He fled,i let him."I honestly answered.

"Bakit naman?"Tanong niya.

"We ended the fight and....he's stronger than me so."Nagkibit balikat na sagot ko at tumitig lang si Uriel sa akin.He must be thinking that i'm a coward right now.

"That's better then.That man have an odd and eerie ability."Sumang ayon na wika niya at kumunot ang noo."It's creepy."Dagdag niya.

"It's Darkness Manipulation."Wika ko at ipinasok namin si Asher sa loob ng kotse.Hiniga ko siya sa backseat at umupo na kami ni Uriel sa driver at passenger's seat.

"What now?"Tanong niya at pinaandar ko na ang sasakyan paalis sa lugar na iyon.

"We need to go back in the villa.You left your phone when you chase Xavier,call Axel for update."Utos ko at tumalima naman siya.

"Hello?Ax?"Tanong niya at narinig ko ang pag atungal ni Axel.Mukhang nagising siya dahil sa biglaang pagtawag ni Uriel.

"Uriel?May problema?"Inaantok na tanong niya.

"Asher is wounded,prepare the clinic and tell Lynn to get ready."Diretsong sagot ni Uriel at tinido ko ang speed ng sasakyan.

Nagkagulo sa kabilang linya at ilang segundo lang ay si Lynn na ang nagsalita."Oh my god tell me that he's fine."Kinakabahang wika ni Lynn.

"He's not because he's loosing too much blood."Sagot ni Uriel at nilingon si Asher na wala paring malay.

"Then please come back quickly."Payo ni Lynn at nagpaalam na silang dalawa sa isa't isa.Gumapang si Uriel backseat at nilinis ang sugat ni Asher gamit ang dala naming first aid kit.

Binalutan din niya ng bandage ang ulo ni Asher upang tumigil ang pagdugo nito."Hang in there buddy,we'll get you home in no time."Wika ko at nagpokus na sa pagmamaneho.
