Hunters pov

Inside we all stat down next to a roaring fire.

"So thats why your last text was so weird." Edric said with a sad smile, "And that sounds awful im glad your ok"

"Yeah," Luz said, "I wanted to go back for you and eda but my leg was injured so amity made wait."

"Your leg is injured?" I gasped, "How bad?"

"Dont worry, emria patched it up."

"But how bad was it?"

"Only a fracture."

"Only a fracture?!" I punched her in the arm, "and you wanted to go on a rescue mission?!"

"Uh-" luz started but i cut her off.

"Dont you dare try anything dangerous when your injured! I just got a little sister i dont want to-"

"Im your little sister?" Luz gaped, eyes lighting up happily.

"What i didnt say- nevermind i just dont want you to risk yourself." I said crossing my arms. "Anyway I told eda i was picking you up so we should go."

"Wait, uh can you stay a little longer?" Edric said, grabbing my sleeve, "i want to show you my monster boss collection."

"You have a monster boss collection!" Jumped up, "I love that game!"

Edric took me by the hand and dragged me upstairs.

"Luz were leaving in an hour!" I shouted as we rounded the hallway.

"Roger that!"

"Whos roger?" I muttered.

Edric shrugged.

Time flew faster then it ever had and suddenly amity was sticking her head in the door.

"Its been three hours are you nerds done yet?"

"three?" I asked, pulling out my scroll to look at the time. "But were only two quarters through the collection."

"Acctually have another box in the attic," Edric said, "soooo..."

"Alright, sorry ed, i should head back. Wheres luz?"

"I walked her home an hour ago." amity said.

"But my objective was to take her home!" i protested.

"well shes home now, and you pretty mutch abandoned your objective to hang out with edric."

"Well thats taken care of," Edric said before giving me a nudge, "Do you want to just spend the night?"

I raised an eyebrow, "wait really?"

"yup." Edric said, "what do you say?"

I grinned, "Ill have to check with eda first."
