Chapter 23

IMEE

Yanne just arrived yesterday and now she's asking me if she can already go home na kasi she misses her mommy so much na daw but i said no 'cause her mom told me she'll stay here for one week.

Malilintikan ako sa nanay niya kapag pinauwi ko siya.

Luckily Michael and Cara together with their daughter Mia came here in the house.

"Libangin mo nga ang pinsan mo para hindi ako kulitin na umuwi na siya," Michael chuckled on what I said. Yanne is now with Cara and Mia on the kitchen they're backing a cookies for our meryenda later.

"I think she doesn't want to go home now that Mia is here" Michael said as he chuckled.

I went to the kitchen to check on them they're already put the cookies on the oven. I laughed when i saw Mia's face full of backing powder.

Yanne is taking a video of Mia while Mia is trying to remove those backing powder on her face, when Mia saw her tata taking a video of her she smiled on the camera.

"You looked like a momo" Yanne laughed.

"It's okay I'm still pretty even if i looked like a momo" My mouth parted the way she said that oh my god she even flipped her hair!

"Where did you learn that? you're just four Mia alam mo na mag taray" Natatawang tanong ni Yanne.

"From you, when you make taray to uncle Lu and uncle Fonso you do that" Napa takip nalang ng bunganga si Yanne.

"Oh my god" Yanne said while she was still covering her mouth.

"You're bad influence for Mia Yanne" Michael joked.

"Of course not," Yanne said half shouted which made her brows wrinkled. Michael just laughed at her making Yanne annoyed.

Michael and Cara rarely visit here in the house same with Yanne. Mostly kasi ako, si Matthew at Borgy at ang mga kasambahay lang ang nasa bahay kaya kadalasan tahimik ang bahay pero kapag nandito silang tatlo maingay lalo na kapag kasama nila ang mga pinsan nila.

YANNE

It was Thursday morning when i received a call from tita Patricia.

"I already told your mom and dad because your ate Michelle came home yesterday and she asked me if i can borrow you daw,"

My eyes widened. My gosh! ate Michelle is home finally for how many years!

"Tita of course! kahit kelan niyo ako gustong hiramin you know naman na i can't say no to my fave ate 'no" I was smiling while saying that, i can feel that tita Patricia is smiling also.

"Tomorrow, sunduin ka raw nila. I'll text Imee later para maipag paalam kita"

"Sure tita, I'll wait for them tomorrow" Tita Patricia bade her good-bye as she ended the call.

I'm here at the garden right know and it's almost lunch already. Kuya Michael and ate Cara went home already earlier mama Imee is also went out for her work so yes, it's just me and the kasambahays.

Chichi it with me, anak siya ng asong aspin ni mommy sa bahay pinahingi lang ni mommy kasi ang daming niya anak.

"I miss mommy already, chi" I whispered as if she'll answer me.

"I want to go home na..." I pouted. Gusto ko nang umuwi miss ko na si mommy isang araw palang pero gusto ko na talagang umuwi.

"Oh, I'll just call and make paalam since ate Michelle will pick me up here tomorrow" Chichi barked that made me smile like she agreed on my decision.

It took mommy a minutes to answer my call.

"Hello mommy? are you there?" I asked, her camera is off.

"Yes, mom's there. Why did you call? do you need something po?" I smiled when i heard mommy's voice.

"Wala naman po, you're camera is off mommy" Malambing kong sabi and just a minute mommy open her camera making me more happy because i saw her face na.

"Naks! so ganda naman talaga ang fresh pa bagong ligo!" Mom chuckled, i can heard my dad's voice on her background.

"Hon! have you seen my bag?" He shouted, it's not that loud kasi baka nasa malayo siya.

"It's on your office, nasa couch ata" Mom shouted back. Dad's voice is getting loud i guess he's walking towards mom.

"Okay thank you. I'll go na" He said as he kissed mommy on lips. Mom giggled. Dad was supposed to leave when mommy speak.

"Yanne's on the phone" Mom whispered but i still heard it hindi niya talaga alam bumulong.

"Oh sorry," He looked on the phone and saw me so i waved my hand.

"Hello there young lady, how are you na?" He asked.

"Hmm, tamis!" I even laugh on what i said.

"I'm okay here dad, ikaw bakit tanghali ka nanaman papasok?" I answered.

"I only have one meeting this day the meeting will start two P.M wala naman akong gagawin sa office e" I raised my left eyebrow asking him if it's true.

"Oo nga kahit itanong mo pa kay Kyea she have my schedule i also have a copy I'll send you later para maniwala ka, but for now I'll go na,"

"Okay, bye bye ingat! love you!" I smiled and give him a flying kiss. He kissed mommy again and bade his good-bye.

"Mommy, pupunta ako kela ate Michelle tomorrow, they'll pick me up daw tomorrow" I informed mommy even though i know that she knows already.

"Mh-huh she call me early this morning..." Silence hit us for a while.

"Where are you going po?" I asked when i saw that she's wearing.

"Sa mall, your tita Rachel asked me if we can go out for lunch" She said so i nodded.

"Okay, I hope i can come i miss tita Rachel na... i miss you also na, mommy" I pouted. Mommy laughed.

"Aw i miss you too. Don't worry uuwi kana sa Saturday" She said trying to lighten up my feelings.

"Hm matagal pa"

We talked until the kasambahay called me for lunch. Mommy also bade her good-bye bye because it's already lunch and pupunta pa siyang mall.

Time passed so fast, parang kahapon lang no 'ng kausap ko si mommy sa phone but now uuwi na ako! finally i miss my mommy so much!

Pagka tigil ng kotse sa tapat ng pinto ay dali dali akong bumaba at hinanap si mommy.

"Mommy I'm home!" Masayang sigaw ko habang hinahanap siya. One of our kasambahay heard me so they said mom's in the garden. I went in the garden running and there, i saw mommy sitting on the hair while reading a book.

"Mom!" She immediately looked at her back.

"Oh  you're here," Mom smiled making me smile too. I went to her so that I could hug her tight.

"One week ka lang nawala anak, parang isang taon naman tayong hindi nagkita sa yakap mo" She joked.

"Please don't leave me" I whispered.

"Pardon?"

"I dreamed about you last night... that you left us daw..."

"That's only a dream anak" Mom said but i shook my head.

"No, diba everything that we dream sometimes comes true?" I asked, mommy stayed quiet for a while.

"Yong iba oo but not all naman anak" I pouted.

"Basta, don't leave us," I whispered making mommy chuckled a bit.

"I promise that" She said, she even raised her right hand.
