He was already getting his phone bombarded with messages from the group chat, and now this? This was turning out to be the worst day of his life. On the other hand for his friends, this was turning out to be a day of new memories.
Carlos- No problem! I am totally going to be there!
He already felt like he was being constantly watched by his parents, as they had slipped him at least hundreds of pamphlets of mental health. Why did they have to watch him like a hawk? He appreciated their hugs and words, but he didn't need to be tracked every minute of the day.
Ashlyn- Thanks Miss Jenn!
How was she so calm and collected? She reminded him of Seb, who always seemed to be happy despite his past trauma. He wanted to be like Ashlyn, who seemed to be on the right path even after jumping out a window and cracking her pelvis, except he didn't want to crack his own bones out of not being able to dance for a while.
