Chapter 11: Man vs Beast!

Face to face, Akano and Curator were in their final forms and ready to go all out.
"If you think you'll stop me here... I'll be happy to grind you down into the dirt."
"Talk all you want, but I'm not going to hold back against you."
Curator started laughing which was slowly ticking off Akano.
"You have no idea what I had planned all this time. This city will be left in ruins... no one will be able to stop the upcoming disaster."

"Upcoming disaster? What is he talking about?"
"Your guess is as good as mine."
Akano and his new friend were thinking until they saw Curator lifting his head up before letting out a loud whale-calling sound which was shaking the whole facility before an alarm started blasting loudly.
"The hell? What's going on?!"

Suddenly with a loud booming echo, Curator spoke.
"Begin phase 4 of our mission! Release the beasts out of their cages!"
That was when the loudspeaker began a broadcast.

"Releasing Primal Beasts #50 - 200 out of containment. Commencing Operation: Animal Kingdom!"

"Primal beasts 50 through 200?! What the hell are you doing, Curator?!"
"I set all my test subjects free! All my primal beasts will run free and kill everyone in Narukami City, and wreak havoc all throughout Japan!" With a maniacal laugh, Curator began charging toward Akano.
"It will be unfortunate for your friends as they will die from these monsters and you won't be able to save them!"

If it wasn't obvious enough, Akano was in shock and was reminded of the first incident that happens two years ago, only this time... it was a whole army against a group of heroes. The nightmare was flashing through his head, but the White Tiger vestige spoke.
"Snap out of it, Akano! Don't let it get to you! You aren't the same person you were back then! You are stronger now more than ever! Focus and let's take down Curator now!"

"CURATOR!"
Within that instance, Akano leaped toward Curator and delivered a powerful punch. The impact was strong as it dented a part of Curator, letting out a groan of pain.
"Rotten bastard!" With a swing of his tail, slamming Akano back. Before colliding into the wall, Akano quickly recovered in midair, landing on his feet before propelling himself back to Curator.
"I'll put you down damn it!" Going for another punch, however, Curator delivered another tail swing towards Akano.

The collision ended in a stalemate as they were both pushed back. As Akano landed, he saw Curator's tail coming back at him again from the opposite direction. He used the momentum of the impact to quickly swing his tail back again.
"Incoming! Stop that tail!"
Akano buckled down and braced for impact. A loud crash could be heard when Akano reached out for the tail, sliding to the side using his legs to stop himself. With a bleeding head, he had Curator's tail firmly in his grasp.
