Silence. Long silence.
"Can you repeat it again, please?" asked the painter.
"I would like you to paint this tryptic. At the center there is a young woman and a girl. The girl's back is facing the woman, her little wings spread to the sides, a smile on her face. The woman is about to cut one of the wings, her expression full of love and determination. On the left side of the painting the same woman is showing the girl a beautiful white princess dress, the child looks ecstatic. The woman hides scissors behind her back. On the right side of the painting the girl walks in shock, her face covered in tears, her pupils dilated in disbelief, dressed like a princess, two lines of blood running down her back. Up in the air some women hover, flying dressed in multicolours, looking down in grief and despair, unable to stop the tragedy they witness."
Longer silence.
"Can you rep..." the painter voice became inaudible as the customer left the workshop.
