Enough! I've been twice on the verge of starvation because of this bastard. Both times I had to feed on weaker targets, smashing their dreams and tearing apart their hopes in little pieces till they fell forever in darkness. I felt repulsed.

I've studied what he likes, what he hates, his companion and the holes where he hides for refuge. I know by heart everyone of his routines and there's no fissure. The offers I make as a bait are accepted and put aside on the spot, compliments bounced back as a tennis ball.

From afar, he looks like a sweet deer; a few steps apart, the flames in his eyes glow in a red shade I've only seen in hell. His smile says he's waiting for me to try, welcoming. 'Come, if you dare' I can read in his body posture.

They are so rare, that finding an exemplar like this is a blessing from heavens. There's so much to extract from them. I can imagine his younger self, torn by claws; I can guess his soul tattooed with scars. He knows the field, he would never step out of the safe zone and put himself in danger, again.

Meanwhile, I'm observing. If I only could get a bit closer, just the distance to stretch my paws and grab him.
