Y/N could've sworn it were real, it was smashed into the school walls, ticking away and something was drawing her towards it she wanted to get closer and closer to it but once she did she woke up.
"It was like she was in a trance or something." Dustin told Nancy and Robin
"That's not even the bad part." Y/N sighed at the group as she and the rest of them made their way into the school psychiatrists office "Fred and Chrissy they were both having headaches. Bad headaches that just wouldn't go away, and then— then the nightmares. Trouble sleeping, they'd wake up in a cold sweat—" at this point Y/N was looking over at her boyfriend Steve, these were the things that had been happening more recently when he would stay over at her house "They'd wake up in a cold sweat and then they started seeing things. Bad things from their past these visions just kept on getting worse and worse, until eventually everything ended." Y/N explained to the group
"Vecna's curse." Robin stated
"Chrissy's headaches started a week ago. Fred's six days ago, I've been having them for five days. I don't know how long I have all I know is that for Fred and Chrissy they both died less than twenty four hours after their first vision. And I just saw that goddamn clock. Looks like I'm going to die tomorrow." Y/N explained to the group who were all terrified for her, they looked between her and Steve and made their way out of the office to give them some time together.
"I'm not going to let you die." Steve said as he pulled his girlfriend into his chest and hugged her tightly
"There isn't anything you can do Steve, I'm dying and that's that." Y/N sniffled Steve kissed the top of his girlfriends head and held her close
"We were going to spend the rest of our lives together." Steve sighed
"I know and I want that so badly but we both have to face facts here Steve, I'm not going to make it past tomorrow." Y/N continued to say, the two continued to embrace each other but what they didn't realise was that Nancy was actually watching them together from the other side of the office door. Even though Steve was her ex boyfriend she loved him and Y/N together she just wanted the best for the two of them and Nancy was going to stop at nothing to make sure Y/N survived this— she wasn't going to lose another friend to this madness.
It was late in the evening and Y/N hadn't said a word to anyone, she was sat at a desk writing endless letters to each of her loved ones. The hardest ones for her to do were for Max and Steve— Max was Y/N's step sister which meant that Y/N was the full sister of Billy Hargrove who died due to the Mind Flare, Y/N loved Max like she loved Billy as far as she was concerned Max was her blood sister and nothing would change that. When she finished writing the letters she gathered them up and dished them out to the people who were around her which was Max, Lucas, Dustin and Steve.
"What are these?" Dustin asked Y/N
"Letters to you all— don't open them now you have to save them till I'm dead." Y/N wiped her eyes to get rid of the tears that were going to fall
