When Y/N eventually came out of hospital she was then admitted into a rehabilitation centre for three months. She wasn't allowed any visitors to begin with because the experts just wanted her to focus on getting better but once she was allowed to have people come and still see her she declined the privilege. She just wanted to focus on making herself better so she didn't allow any of her family to see her and she didn't allow Steve to come and see her either. The decision that Y/N had made frustrated Steve a lot because all he wanted to do was look after Y/N while she was trying to get better but she wasn't giving him that option.
It was mainly for his own good more then her own this was because it gave Steve a chance to get on with his life for those three months where Y/N was away, it gave him the chance to be a normal teenager and not have to constantly worry about Y/N all the time. When the time came that Y/N was allowed to be released, the rehabilitation centre helped her pack up all of her things before calling her parents to come and collect her so she could go home again. When Y/N's parents arrived they hugged her tightly and got her into the car,
"Steve misses you." Y/N's mum said
"Can you drop me off at his on the way home please?" Y/N asked so her dad agreed and made the drive to the Harrington household, when he parked the car outside of the house he kept the engine running
"Do you want us to pick you up?" Her mum asked and Y/N shook her head
"No it's okay I'll get Steve to bring me back later." Y/N said before getting out the car and walking up to the front door. She turned around briefly and saw that her parents had already left so she knocked on the front door a couple of times
'Coming!' Y/N heard Steve call out and when the door opened and Y/N saw Steve standing in front her with a glass of coke in his hand he was beyond shocked to see Y/N standing in front of him.
"Hi Steve." Y/N whispered with a smile
"You're home!" Steve cheered as he picked Y/N up and brought her into his house while hugging her. Y/N laughed as she hugged Steve back tightly while burying her head into his neck when he put her down his hands stayed on her waist "I've missed you, you look so much better." Steve told Y/N who smiled
