Today was the premiere of Stranger Things 4 and everyone was going to get the chance to meet the actor who was playing Eddie Munson. Joseph had brought his wife along to the premiere with him and he was very excited. Not many people knew about Joe being married- he and Y/N had been together since she was nineteen and he was twenty and then just a month after Joe's twenty fifth birthday the pair got married in a tiny little ceremony just the two of them and a witness each who they just asked on the street, it was spontaneous and extremely romantic that it was just a spur of the moment thing.
Y/N was wearing a dark green off the shoulder low open back silk dress with black heels, her hair was pristine and professionally done she looked stunning, when Joe saw what his wife was wearing it honestly took his breath away
"Wow look at you." He smiled which made Y/N jump as she turned around to face her husband
"Look at yourself." Y/N smiled at him as she admired how handsome he looked in his own clothes "Not sure how I feel now that I have to share you with the world, everyone is going to fall in love with you."
"Well they can do that all they want because I am only ever going to love you." Joe smiled as he helped Y/N with her necklace leaving a soft kiss on her cheek, she looked at the two of them in the mirror as Joe stood behind Y/N she placed her hand on the side of his face and she smiled
"Can't I just keep you here? Do we have to go." Y/N whispered as she looked at Joe through the mirror
"Yeah we kind of do darling." He said
"Can't we just do what we did for our first date? Dress up in sophisticated clothes like these and just pig out on fast food." Y/N reminisced which made Joe laugh at the memory of his first ever date with his now wife.
"Oh that was a fantastic day. How about we do it here in the hotel when we get back." Joe suggests as he turns Y/N around to face him. She nods her head with excitement, she then takes Joe's hand and looks at the time on his watch
"Come on we better go." Y/N says as she kisses her husband lips and takes his hand as they both leave the hotel and head to the premiere. When the couple arrived they walked the red carpet together and had lots of pictures taken together before he had them taken with the cast as well,
"Y/N!" Someone calls out to her and when she turns around she sees Sadie walking over to her so Y/N hugs her "None of us knew you were coming." She smiled
"It was a last minute decision." Y/N responds
"Everyone will be so excited to see you." Sadie continues as the two of them watch Joe have his pictures taken and Y/N sighs in admiration
"I'm going to have to share him with the whole of the world now, I've lost him to all of this." Y/N tells Sadie as gestures to all the cameras and people shouting out Joe's name for his attention
"It'll all be okay Y/N, he loves you he talks about you all the time on set. We all love you everything will be fine." Sadie says reassuringly before joining her cast mates. Eventually Joe was on stage being interviewed about joining the cast of Stranger Things
"So who was the first person you told when you got the role of Eddie?" The man asked Joe.
"I phoned my wife Y/N." Joe name dropped you so casually and just the smile on his face when he said your name made you smile as well
"Your wife? How long have you two been together?"
"We've been together since she was nineteen and I was twenty and then got married just after my twenty fifth birthday." Joe explained
"Ah well congratulations." The man smiled
"Thank you. I remember the phone call we had when I found out. I was in our house and Y/N was at work— she's a nurse back where we live so she works extremely hard and is always overworked and tired but never ever complains, anyway, I rang her and when I told her she literally screamed down the phone with excitement I think she was the person out of who I told had the biggest reaction." Joe laughed
After a very long evening of the premiere Y/N and Joe did exactly what he suggested in the hotel and they stayed in their fancy outfits and ate takeaway foods together as they sat opposite one another on the hotel bed with all the food spread out around them
"I am so proud of you." Y/N said to Joe
"Thank you." Joe smiled
"I'm not happy about losing you to millions of fans but I can tolerate it because I love you and none of them will ever love you as much as I do." Y/N smiled as she leaned over and planted a loving kiss on her husband's lips.
"No one will be able to take me away from you Y/N, I love you far too much to let something like that happen." Joe smiled as the happily married couple continued to laugh together and eat all the food that they were sharing.
