Why does Athanasia is hated while Jeannette is loved?

Of course, I heard the servants. The reason why I was hated but I wanted to hear from him. I don't know maybe I am a masochist but I already died once. There's nothing to fear...I guess?

Now. He gave me a lot of gifts and books. I already finished the history of Obelia and I am currently reading Arlanta languages. It's not that easy for a child but since I am an adult, it's for me. Especially, when I already knew it from before. Maybe, I should read a different one. A book on how to govern, maybe?

Enjoying my life unlike before is one of my goals. Just like today, I am holding this adorable animal. Maybe the Emperor gave it to me. I don't know, I just saw it somewhere in the Emerald palace.

I named him blackie. He loves sweet too, just like me. I am in my playroom, Lily is the one who arranged this room for me. I might have a child's body but I am mentally adult. Still, I can't say no. Not when it comes to Lily, the only one who stayed at my side until the end. Of course, Hannah and Ces too. Those three are too hopeful, their eyes are shining from anticipation.

"Athy loves it!" I said. Pretending like a happy child.

Anyway. I am with Blackie, we are both eating chocolates. Maybe, we should go outside. Pets like him need to run around outside.

"You have that beast?" I almost jumped when I heard that voice. Is that guy magician.

"Lucas! Do you know Blackie? Is he yours?" I asked him.

"No. That's your divine beast," he answered while looking at me. Why is he here anyway? Didn't he reject me? And I really wanted to learn some magic.

"What's a divine beast?" I asked. Of course, I don't know. I don't have any  knowledge about that.

"The one your holding. It's born because of your excessive mana," he explained.

"Excessive mana? I have a lot of mana? That means, I am really powerful. You said it, teach me!" I said. He already said it twice!

"Nope."

"Why not. You said I have a strong mana twice already! Then the servants are saying that too!" I complained.

"Maybe I should eat that mutt," he smirked. I hugged Blackie tightly. What eat?! Is he crazy.

"You're crazy. Don't you dare!" I said.

"Do you want to die?" He asked. My eyes widened when he said that.

"I don't want too! Didn't I already told you that! That's why Athy's need to be strong!" I said to him. He just looked at me with amusement.

"Don't spend too much time with that mutt," he reminded me then just like that he's gone.

I didn't listen to him. How could I? He didn't explained the reason. Besides, Blackie is too cute and cudly.

"Athanasia," I heard the Emperor called my name. I looked at him and curtsy.

"Thank you for inviting Athy for tea," I said. I noticed that everyone is in awe. No one gave me that look before.

I smiled at him. My father but as expected. He still have that cold expression in his eyes. Whose idea is it? And I looked at Felix smiling. That's right, tea time must be his idea. Why would her father ask her for tea anyway.

But I suddenly felt sick. What is it? Is it poison? No. I haven't drink nor eat anything yet.

My heart is beating so fast. I can't breath.

"You look sick," Claude said. He noticed?

"Athy's fine," I said. I tried to smile and pretend that I am fine. Who knows what's going to happen if he realized that I am not feeling well.

I covered my mouth as I coughed. Then a red liquid came out from it...blood. What is happening?

Everything started to become blurry. I looked at Claude's shocked face.

"D-Daddy," I muttered. I don't know why I said. I wanted to take it back but I started falling of the chair and everything went black.
