You woke up in a cold sweat. Your heart felt like it was going to burst out of your chest as you looked around frantically. It was pitch black and you were still half asleep so the fear was still as intense as it was in your dream. You started to breath heavily from how panicky you were feeling and it was enough to wake Eddie up. He jolted up from a dead sleep,worried that something might have happened to you. He quickly comforted you,resting his hands on your shoulders "Y/n, sweetheart,I'm here it's okay." His voice was enough to snap you back to reality and your breathing slowed down. You nuzzled up to him and held onto him tightly "Eddie it was so scary...I thought I lost you" You whimpered trying to get the dream from out of your head. "You didn't lose me I'm here." Eddie cooed and held onto you as well,brushing his fingers throughout your hair to help calm you down. Your eyes began to feel heavy again as Eddie held you. Slowly but surely you began to drift back off to sleep. Eddie felt your body get heavy as you drifted off. He smiled and pressed a kiss against your temple "Goodnight sweetheart."
