You and Eddie had always been close. You did everything together rather it be during school or after school. You loved spending every moment with him until you started noticing the butterflies that would swarm in your stomach,or the way his smile would make your face get hot from blush. The feelings you started to grow for Eddie got stronger and stronger. You had never felt that way about someone and Eddie was your best friend,the only person you looked forward seeing everyday. As much as you would daydream about being more than friends,you were scared. The worry that he wouldn't feel the same way and then your friendship would be ruined. Because everytime you were around him you felt like you were growing more feelings,so you became distant. Eddie noticed almost instantly. He became distant as well. Worried that he was doing something wrong and didn't want to upset you anymore than he thought he had. The days got longer and more boring when you weren't with Eddie. It got to the point where you decided enough was enough. As soon as school ended,you decided to go look for Eddie. Your heart pounded like crazy as you stepped outside and seen Eddie. He walking towards the parking lot where he always parked his van. You took a deep breath and went to catch up with him. "Hey Eddie!" You called,catching his attention. Eddie turned around and the sad look on his face finally shifted to happy. "Oh hey y/n.'' You decided just go with it knowing if you tried to sugarcoat it you would never actually tell him "I was thinking and I'm sorry I was such a huge bitch to you. You don't deserve it." Eddie listened and nodded his head "It's okay, y'know,it's okay." "And also um..." You took a deep breath once again "I think I'm in love with you." The words fell out of your lips like they were made to. Eddie stared at you for a moment and finally spoke up "Like as friends?" "No I mean like for real," you answered"cause you're like the coolest person I've ever met and you don't even have to try." Eddie grinned big as he listened to "I try really hard actually" you smiled at Eddie and kept going on "You're like naturally smart," you explained "and you're not like everyone else. You don't judge me for the things I like and everything about you just makes me so happy." When you finished talking,Eddie took you by surprise. Putting his hand on your face,he cupped your cheek and leaned his face in to kiss you.
