NIGHT ONE
January 12, 2009
11:45 PM

Adam looks around the house to find the entrance. He comes across an unblinded window. He peeks in from it and he sees an empty room with a cat door.

"There's one camera in there already, but it's one of those old ones with the tape and stuff. It will record, but I won't be able to see it in real time. We'll just have to look at it afterwards." Jonah says to Adam.

Adam finally gets into the house.

Adam's POV:

"Here, kitty kitty..." I say as I try to get the attention of Johnny the cat. I click my tongue. "Everything alright? Are you at peace here?" I ask the ghost cat.

"You look so stupid right now." Jonah tells me.

"Dude, what am I supposed to do for a literal ghost cat?!" I get annoyed at him.

"What's...what's it going to do, just mEoW us to death? Like, what are we doing here?" I can hear Jonah trying not to laugh.

"Would you mind taking this seriously for once!?" I tell him gettin mad at him. Why can't he take this seriously.

"I mean, in the end, I don't have to take that seriously at all. Cause I'm in here, and you're in there, and you're-" he starts but I cut him off by saying: "Yeah, because you were too scared to go inside to begin with!"

"Not too scared, I'm not too scared..." Jonah mumbles aloud. "Yes you are." I tell him.

"No I'm not. I'm not scared. I'm not. I'm not. I just...I'm allergic to cats." He says. I can't really tell if it's real or an excuse since we haven't interacted with a cat yet.

I arrive at a door. "You seeing this?" I ask Jonah. "Uhh...the door." Jonah says puzzled.

I try to open the door but it's locked up real tight. "It's locked tight...kinda weird." I tell him.

"Try and um...do you have anything to...y'know...tear it down?" He asks me. "I'm not gonna bust down this random lady's door." I tell him. Click. I took a picture of the door.

"It's fine. She's not gonna find out." Jonah says trying to defend himself. "Aaaaaanyways, moving on..." I say as I move on looking around.

"So you uh...you see anything in there?" Jonah asks me. "No, I mean, there was nothing besides that weird kinda locked door. Not a meow, not a noise, nothing. See anything weird on the cameras at all?" I ask him.

"Yeah I'm not... I'm scrubbing through this. I don't think I see anything either." Jonah says. "I mean, who knows. Maybe that thing's just locked downstairs." I suggest.

"Yeah, the more- I'm not gonna lie to you man. The more I look at this house, the more I...really don't wanna be in it." Jonah says with worry in his tone.

"I mean, I don't see anything. I think we're just kinda...babysitting an empty house for 3 nights." I say.

"I mean, I think the best thing that could happen is that we just leave now and then we say we were here the entire time. Cause I'm lookin at this house and I'm lookin at this footage...and even though there's nothing too threatening about it, I don't...I don't like it. I really don't like it." Jonah says now with a very worried tone.

"It's literally just an empty house bro.
Can you suck it up for 3 nights?" I tell him. "Ugh, suck what" he says.

A while later. A scream can be heard.

"Where did that come from?!" I say a bit confused yet panicked for a moment.

"I think that came from the house, man! I really don't like this now!" Jonah whimpers.

"I'm the opposite, this is kinda interesting!" I tell him. "I don't.. I don't think we should go back in there.." Jonah suggests me.

"I'm going back in. There's something deeper then a cat in here." I tell him. "I think that's the problem. I..." Jonah starts. "I think it's fine. You're overreacting. Do you realized what this could do for us?" I tell him.

"Do what for us? We're already on the run, we don't need this attention again." Jonah gets bitter. "Wether you like it or not I'm going back in." I tell him annoyed. "Adam, please!" He tries to change my mind.

"Too late, I've already made up my mind." I tell him.
