Mardox reacted immediately. He hit a button on his gauntlet, and as the ground opened up to his base, he jumped in. He fell through the air, and activated his jet-boots, flames pulsing out of the metal cylinders, and he landed in the seat of of the Avalanche. He activated the engines and sent the ship into the air. As the ship went shooting out of the atmosphere, the crew of the Ghost noticed, and followed suit. They ran into the ship and fired up all systems. The Ghost flew away from Correlia, and into pursuit of Callum.
