Chapter 22: V-v-velociraptor?

When they got back to Correlia, the Avalanche descended into the base and hid itself in the floor, with the Ghost landing on the landing pad and remaining visible. As soon as the door opened on the rebel ship, Mardox burst out, much to the surprise of everyone, as they were under the impression he was unconscious. He ran into a dark corner of his base and unhooked a latch as Cameron led the rest of the rebels out of the ship. They heard a deep purr, and Mardox said,
"Oh, hello! Are you Foxtrot? Hello Foxtrot! Foxtrot, sit! Good Foxtrot!" He kneeled down as he said this, and raised his hand in a fist toward the end. Everyone has come out of the ship now, and was wandering around the base, inspecting. Mardox then said, "Foxtrot, fire!" and a shot rang out as a smoking hole appeared on a red-and-white target on the other side of the room. Zeb was very lucky, for the shot landed right between his fingers. The deep purr grew in volume, and Mardox said, "Go see!" The whole crew was already startled and was staring at the dark corner where what looked like a large reptilian ostrich in full body armour emerged and started bounding towards Cameron at high speed. She flattened herself against the wall as the creature stood in front of her, purring loudly. Cameron managed to stutter out,
"I-is that a v-v-velociraptor?"
