Once we make it to Eddie's trailer, we quickly head inside and lock the door.
"So the opening must be here. Does anyone see an opening?" I ask but no one has the chance to reply as the rood starts to cave in.
We all jump back and I stand in front of everyone just in case we have to fight.
"What is that?!"
A stick comes through the roof as it starts to cave in more. Parts fall to the ground until there is a clear opening.
Slowly, we all walk foward and look up to see Dustin, Max, Lucas and another girl. She must be the other person we heard talking.
"Hahaha! It worked! Hey!" Dustin laughs which causes us all to let out a sigh of relief.
Finally, we can get the hell out of here.
The four kids drag a mattress towards the centre of the room and they look up... down at us.
"Is that...?" Robin looks at me and I look back at her, noticing the suspicious stains on the mattress.
"Uh... those stains are- yeah, I don't know what those stains are..." Eddie says embarrassed.
"Come on, we've got bigger things to worry about right now." I draw everyone's attention back to the task at hand.
Now, a peice of material hangs from both openings of the portal which can be used for us to escape.
We watch as Robin goes first as she climbs to the top. However, when she makes it through to the other side, she falls down onto the mattress.
"Woah..."
"Alright, you go next Eddie." I say to him but he shakes his head.
"No, you have to go first. I need to know that you're safe." He places a hand on my cheek and I put my hand over his.
"Hey... as sweet as that is, I have to disagree. I have to stay back just in case anything happens. I can protect everyone. Remember?" I remind him and he sadly agrees.
He plants a thick kiss to my lips before gripping onto the makeshift climbing rope.
"Please be careful Y/N." He says and I nod.
I feel a strong relief when he makes it to the other side safe.
"Alright Nance, your turn- Nancy? Nancy!" Steve shouts, shaking Nancy whose eyes are rolled back and she is completely unresponsive.
Vecna has her.
In a matter of seconds, everyone back in the overworld frantically begins searching for music or anything to help Nancy escape Vecna.
I place my hand on her shoulder and try to get into her mind but Vecna has locked me out.
A few seconds later, the chaos stops and Nancy wakes up, losing her balance. Steve catches her just before she hits the ground.
"Shit! Nancy are you alright?" I rush over to the both of them.
Nancy takes deep breaths and gasps for air. I can tell that she is trying to hold back tears as Steve holds her in his arms.
He clearly still has feelings for her.
Nancy begins to explain everything that Vecna made her see. She saw Hawkins being torn apart. Our world on fire.
"He's been telling us his plan this whole time."
All of us go silent, not knowing what to say or do.
"Vecna he- he wanted me to send a message. He's coming for Eleven. And for some reason... he knows Y/N. He also knew your dad." Nancy breathes.
I look up through the gate in the roof and I can see everyone looking down at me with extreme concern. Especially Eddie.
"Come on. We have to leave." I say without adding to the conversation. We already have enough to deal with here.
Steve tries to help Nancy climb to the top but Nancy is still too weak from her previous run in with Vecna.
"Here. I can help." I say, reaching out my hand.
Nancy starts levitating off the ground and I use my abilities to help her to the other side. Steve looks at me as if to say he needed help too but I just roll my eyes, waiting for him to climb.
Once he's out, I place my hands on the rope and begin climbing. Eddie reaches out his hand and he helps pull me through to the other side.
"Thanks." I smile, giving him a quick kiss but I quickly pull back to wipe away the trickling blood which begins to fall from my nose.
"So once Vecna kills his fourth victim, that's when the gates will open. But when exactly will he do that?" Robin asks but we all give her blank stares.
"Well for starters, we need a plan. A good plan. But either way we do have Y/N on our side. They have powers which gives us a fighting chance." Dustin speaks up.
"Woah wait a minute! We are not just using Y/N as some weapon!" Eddie argues back for me which makes me smile and grab his hand lightly.
"You two are absolutely disgusting." The other girl who I haven't met before cuts in.
"Who are you?"
"I am Erica Sinclair."
I look between her and Lucas. They're siblings. But why is his younger sister even here right now? This is too dangerous.
"Well we need to come up with a plan."
Everyone begins talking and discussing but I just walk away into the bathroom to check the wounds on my back. I take my jacket and top off and turn around.
They're still quite bad as I can see from under the make shift bandages but I don't have time for that right now.
The whole of Hawkins is in danger.
Terrible danger.
