Naging hot topic ang pagkapanalo namin. Best in booth. Champion sa basketball. First place sa soccer and badminton. And champion sa volleyball and power dance.

I am cooking our dinner while Caius is watching on the couch. Narinig ko ang pagpapatugtog nito.

"When marimba rythms start to play

Panimula ng kanta. Pati ako ay malumanay na napapaindak.

Nagulat ako nang maramdaman ang hawak nito sa baywang ko.

"Caius." Pagbanggit ko sa pangalan nito. He just smirked at me.

"C'mon, I wanna have this dance." Pagsusumamo niya.

"But I'm cooking."

"We'll dance." He said saka pinatay ang stove. Pinaharap niya ako sa kanya sabay patong ng kamay ko sa braso nito. He rested his hands on my waist while we're both swinging with the rythm of the music.

I closed my eyes. He made our forehead collide as he pulled me closer to him.

"I love you." Napatigil ako sa pagsayaw sa sinabi nito. He also stopped.

Dahan-dahan akong napamulat at tumingin sa seryosong mukha niya. I can't utter a right word to say. I can't even move.

"Fvck." Mura nito sa reaksyon ko. Now I feel awkward.

"I'll just finish our food." Pagbalik ko sa ginagawa. The silent awkwardness ate us kahit na patuloy parin sa pagtunog ang kanta.

"WHAT THE FVCKING AFRITADA!?" gulat na sabi ni Ziah.

I heave a sigh on her reaction. I told her what happened last night. That sudden confession of Caius. Gosh.

Kahit na malakas ang tugtog ng music na nasa loob ng bar ay rinig parin ang malakas na sigaw nito.

"Then what happened next?" She excitedly asked.

"There's nothing happened Zi, stop overthinking things." She disappointedly bowed her head.

Weekend kaya napagpasyahan kong ayain siya sa usual club na pinupuntahan namin. Ilang oras din kami doon para lang pag-usapan ang bagay bagay.

I'm going home para sabihin sa pamilya ko ang tungkol sa'min ni Caius. We can't fake it when our feelings is real.

Pagkatapos ng mahabang gabi ay napagpasyahan na naming umuwi. It's already eleven in the evening. We're walking on the parking space of the club nang mapansin ko sa gilid ang isang pamilyar na tao.

I know it's him. His back. His posture. I know it. You can't fool the eyes that crazy of you. And I'm beyond furious when I saw what the freaking hell he's doing. Foolish of me thinking of our MUTUAL feelings whatsoever.

"Hey, c'mon, baka hinahanap na 'ko ni mama." Pagpukaw ni Ziah sa pansin ko. 'Di ko siya pinansin dahil nasa kay Caius parin ang tingin ko at sa kahalikan nito. Napatingin siya sa tinitingnan ko.

"What the fudge? Isn't that your so called fiance?" She stated the obvious.

"C'mon, we have to get out of here. You shoudn't waste time to jerks like him." She grabbed my hand at hahatakin na sana ako. But my rage is so much.

I walked toward the two freaking fvckers. I tapped the girl's shoulder. Napahiwalay siya sa halikan nila. Caius looks drunk. He can't even look at me properly.

"Elli?" He asked. I slapped him as hard as I could para lang matauhan siya. The girl gasped so I turned my gaze on her.

"How dare you slapped my boyfriend. Sino ka ba ha!?" She said and was about to approach Caius pero hinawakan ko ang kwelyo niya.

"Run for your life." I treathened. Mukhang gumana naman dahil 'di ito nagkandauga-ugang lumayo.

"Dang girl, you look danger." Ziah said. Masama ko siyang tiningnan.

"Opps, I should really go. Baka mas mauna pa 'kong mamatay kay mama. Bye." Sabi niya at mabilis na nawala sa paningin ko.

Binalik ko ang tingin kay Caius. Kahit na galit ako ay pinanatili ko ang blangkong ekspresyon sa aking mukha. Mukhang nasa sarili na ito.

"Elli." He called.

"How dare you say you love me when you'll kiss another the other day." Prankang sabi ko dito.

He touched his lips nang may kunot na noo. Now he's acting innocent.

"That must be a dream." He mumbled to himself.

"Wait, you didn't respond right?" Parang tangang tanong nito. I know he's talking about what happened yesterday.

"I didn't respond but that doesn't mean you should kiss another girl you freaking dumbass." I hysterically said.

"So, you're jealous." Nanginig ang kamay kong nakakuyom sa galit dahil sa sinabi niya.

I was about to punched him when he grabbed my fist and just like that, he's now hugging me.

"Of course I would be jealous. I'm your freaking fiance you moron." I said as I sob.

Wait, am I crying for real? Stop it Phyr. You pathetic creature.

He hushed me. "I'm sorry. I'm kind of drunk and I thought you're the one that I'm kissing to." Kumawala ako sa pagkakayakap niya at pinunasan ang luha ko.

"You know, this is not the marriage I imagined." Sabi ko sabay iwas ng tingin. 'Di ito nagsalita pero ramdam ko ang tingin niya sa'kin.

"You proposed but it's for the deal. And I agreed for you to shut up about my secret. We're getting married coz of an agreement, and then you said you love me for real." Sabi ko at binalingan siya ng tingin. He's just looking at me intently.

Hindi ito ang gusto kong simula ng buhay ko. I planned of marrying kahit na naisip kong imposible. Because I don't trust anyone aside from my family and Ziah.

"Then let's start over again." After he said that, he pulled out a ring and said.

"Marry me Elli."

I never imagine myself marrying anyone. I didn't even imagine of loving someone. The he came. Akala ko kaartehan lang sa pelikula 'yung mga babaeng umiiyak pag nagpo-propose sa kanila ang lalaking mahal nila. But fool of me thinking that way. Because my emotions is overwhelming that my eyes watered when he uttered that.

Aabot pa sa kailangan ko siyang mahuling nakikipaghalikan sa iba bago siya magpropose sa'kin.

"Too demanding." I said while sobbing. He chuckled and rolled his eyes.

"Please marry me?"

"Freaking question."

"Just goddamn marry me Zephyr Ellixianna Davis." Natawa ako nang matunugan na ang inis na sabi niya.

"Still too demanding, but yes." And with that, he put the ring on my finger and kissed my forehead.

Parking lot is one of my favorite place now.
