Chapter 35

The clash.

Naging usap-usapan ang nangyari sa play. Two days have  passed, but I still hear the topic about the 'Prince who loved the maid'

Meron na ngang fan club na Cairous. A combination of my name and Caius'. Aren't they gross of the thought of shipping two guy? well, knowing that I'm a GUY.

"Pero bakit nga ba?" I looked at Shin nang tanungin niya 'ko. They're talking about what happened on the play.

We're at the cafeteria and having a lunch.

"What?" Pagtataas ko ng kilay dito.

"Hindi ba dapat si Cinderella ang isasayaw niya? Pati kami gulat nung lagpasan ni President 'yung Cinderella." Pagsegunda ni Neji.

"I don't know." I truely said. Pati ako 'di rin alam kung bakit ganon ang kinalabasan.

But the adviser said it's fine. Maganda daw ang naging play. Kahit na ganon ang nangyari. 'Di rin sila nagreklamo. What do I expect? It's Caius we're talking about. Malamang walang tututol sa kagustuhan niya.

Napapikit ako nang marinig ang matinis na sigaw galing sa entrance ng cafeteria. Kahit 'di ko  lingunin ay kilalang-kilala ko ang may-ari ng boses na 'yon.

Naramdaman ko ang pagyakap niya sa'kin mula sa likod.

"Kyaaa! Rous babe." Malakas na sigaw nito. Lahat ay nakatingin na sa'min sa lakas ba naman ng boses niya.

Umupo ito sa tabi ko nang maka move on siya sa pagsigaw.

"I can't take this anymore. Sorry kung nagtampo ako sayo. Alam ko naman na 'di mo 'yun kasalanan. That Levi." Pagmamaktol niya.

Ilang araw siyang 'di nagpunta sa school namin para mag-lunch dahil nagtatampo siya sa nangyari sa play. And I somehow missed her presense.

"He's going to pay for this. Alam mo ba, the girls sa school. Naa-annoy na 'ko sa mga tili nila. They're shipping you to Levi that it's so ew. Promise me 'di ka na sasama kay Levi." Pag-iinarte niya.

"I can't, I'm his secretary, malamang kakailanganin niya 'ko." I said. She pouted.

I patted her head. Dati nakakainis ang ganitong asta niya. But I found out that this is normal of her. And I kinda like her as friend. But hell I'm gonna tell her that. Baka iba pa ang maisip niya.

Natapos ang lunch break. Bumalik na 'ko sa klase na lutang. Palagi naman.

The bell rung kaya niligpit ko na ang gamit ko at lumabas na. Pagkarating sa dorm ay naabutan kong pormado si Caius.

He's wearing a gray long sleeve shirt na nakatupi hanggang siko. He also wore an black slacks and a casual shoes. His hair is tied. But what really caught my attention is he's not wearing his glasses.

Nabaling ang tingin niya sa'kin.

"Stop staring." He said with a smirk.

"You look handsome." I complimented. Naglakad ito palapit sa'kin. He wrapped his hand around my waist and kissed me.

"Anong meron?" I asked as I wrapped my arms around his nape.

"Did I forget to inform you? We'll meet my mom tonight." Agad akong napabitaw sa kanya.

"For real!?" I panically said. Nararamdaman ko na naman 'yung nerbyos.

"Yeah? So change now. I already prepared your dress." He said.

It's so sudden na 'di ako magkanda uga-uga sa paliligo. I applied an light make up. He's reading on the couch when I cleared my troat para kunin ang atensyon niya.

"I'm done." He looked at me from head to toe.

"Gorgeous." He whispered na narinig ko naman. I blushed na 'di ko na masiyadong pinahalata.

I'm wearing a gray off shoulder dress that's above the knee.

We walked our way out of the dorm. Naglalakad kami sa parking lot nang school. Wala na din namang tao so I think it's safe for me to walk dressing like this.

"President?" Napalingon kaming dalawa sa nagsalita. My eyes widened nang makita ang tanong nasa harapan ko. It's Neji.

I slowly snaked my hand inside the my pouch para kunin ang baril ko doon. The moment that he would recognize me, he needs to die.

Napatigil ang kamay ko nang hawakan ito ni Caius. Pinagsalikop niya ang mga kamay namin.

"What is it?" Caius coldly said. Mahinang tumawa si Neji.

"Oh, I am having a night walk but I saw you and," he stared at me for a second.

"You look familiar." Neji said. I was about to grab my gun when Caius spoke.

"Nah, she look gorgeous, so would you mind excusing us? We have a date." Caius said.

"Oh, my bad, nice to meet you Ms.? " Ngumiti ako kay Neji kahit na deep inside gusto ko na siya patayin. He should get out of my sight before I pull his throat off.

"Ellixiana." Pagpapakilala ko.

"Oh, hindi ba ikaw 'yung babaeng date rin ni Pres noong halloween party? You look different kesa doon sa black outfit mo nung halloween." Magiliw na sabi niya.

"Did I formally introduce myself? I'm Neji by the way." He motioned his hand for a handshake pero humarang na si Caius.

"Isn't this a rude way to share your name Mister? You can keep that and excuse us." 'Di na nakapahsalita pa si Neji dahil hinatak na 'ko ni Caius palayo.

Tahimik kami nang nasa kotse na when I finally found the courage to speak.

"Thank you," Pagpapasalamat ko. "Baka kung ano ang nagawa kong pagsisisihan ko kung 'di mo 'ko napigilan." He looked at me bago binalik sa daan ang tingin.

"You're welcome." He said with shrug. Tumahimik kami pagkatapos non.

"Don't celebrate yet, we're facing my Mom now Elli." Tila bumalik 'yung nerbyos na naramdaman ko kani-kanina lang.

"Pfft, what's with that face?" Natatawang sabi niya. I rolled my eyes.

"It's a gorgeous face, duh." Mataray na sagot ko. I heard him chuckled.

"I won't disagree with that." He coldly said but makes me blush. He never failed to compliment me.

"We're here." Natigilan ako sa sinabi nito at tumingin sa labas ng bintana ng pinara nito ang kotse sa harap ng isang restaurant.

The elegancy of the restaurant can be seen sa labas pa lang.

He opens up the door as I got out of his car.

"Don't be so tense, my mom won't gonna eat you, the son will." Pagbibiro niya. Sinapak ko ng mahina ang balikat niya. Pero dahil sa mga ginagawa niya ay pansamantala kong nakakalimutan ang kaba na nararamdaman.

We entered the restaurant nang salubungin kami ng isang staff.

"This way, Mr. and Mrs. Herris." Sabi ng lalaki. Napahigpit ang hawak ko sa braso ni Caius. Mrs. Herris sounds good. When I turned my look at him, I caught him biting his lips.

Sumunod kami doon sa staff papuntang second floor. We don't need to look for his mom dahil isang babae lang naman ang nandoon nang pumasok kami.

She's wearing a violet fitted dress that above her knees. And when he turned to us, I felt my world stop.

I will never forget that face. The way her eyes shake my knees in fear and anger at the same time. How I want to avenge my mom, but I prefer to grant her death wish that's why I hid.

Pero para lang din pala akong nagtatagong pagong. One thing I realize now, I can't just forget everything and made her live her life the fullest. I'll end the game she started.
