Epilogue (Part 1)

Third Person's POV

"Shit!" Athena cussed when the door opened.

"Where are you going?" Her close guard asked. Kanang kamay ni Athena na leader ng conqueror.

"Obviously, packing." Athena sarcastically said.

"I can see that, but why?"

"I'm leaving."

"I know you can't be with your family any longer. But you also know that you can't hide from them. Specially your father."

"I don't care, just do me a favor for now." The guy nodded. "Protect my children, I trust their ability but not my father." She said for the last time.

Sham and Pierre lived at kapalit non ay buhay ng kanang kamay ni Athena.

"Trace her." Don Avello command.

"What are you reading?" Athena said at inagaw ang aklat na binabasa ni Carious at sumabay sa paglalakad nito.

"Tsk, can you stop?" Iritadong sabi ng binata. At inagaw ulit ang aklat.

"Of course not. What if mag date tayo?" Kindat nito sa lalaki.

"Books are more interesting than you." Balewala ng binata sa kanya.

Carious came from a poor family. More reason that he can't accept Athena's feelings even though he feel the same way for Athena. For him, Athena is too good for a guy like her. But as time passes, he can't containt his feelings for her.

"Mga wala kayong kwenta. Pinagsisisihan kong napunta ako sa pamilyang ito. At pinagsisihan kong pinakasalan kita." Malayo pa man sa bahay nila Carious ay rinig na ang sigawan sa bahay nila.

Dali dali itong tumakbo papasok sa bahay kaya sumunod si Athena dito. At naabutan nilang binubugbog ng tatay ni Carious ang mama nito.

Mabilis na nakalapit si Carious at sinuntok ang ama nito. Habang dinaluhan naman ni Athena ang mama nito.

"Walang hiya ka!" Paulit ulit na sigaw ni Carious habang patuloy na pinapaulanan ng suntok ang tatay niya.

Dumating ang ambulansya at nadala sa hospital ang nanay at tatay nito.

"Buong buhay ko ang ginusto ko lang ay magkaroon ng magandang pamilya. Gusto ko lang maging masaya, ganon ba kahirap 'yon?" Sabi ni Carious habang nakatingin sa kawalan.

Hindi nagsalita si Athena at niyakap ang lalaki. Naramdaman nito ang pag galaw ng balikat niya at ginantihan ang yakap nito. It's the first time that she witness the guy cry. One thing she knew that time. She loves him. And she wants Carious to be happy. Kaya niyang ibigay ang lahat ng meron siya para lang sa ikaliligaya ng lalaking mahal niya.

"Athena, can I be happy?" Malungkot na tanong niya sa dalaga. Malungkot na tumango ang babae.

"Then be with me. . ." Takhang napatingin si Athena dito. "Make me happy, for the rest of our life." 'Di napigilan ng babae ang luha nito. And with that, Carious kissed her.

Everything is going wonderfully fine with them. They got married and had a beautiful little girl, Zephyr.

"The child, she has a yellow pair of eyes." When the doctor said that, parang tinakasan ng hininga si Athena. Akala nito ay tuluyan na siyang nakatakas sa nakaraan nito.

She made sure that no one will know about her child's secret. Carious accepted his daughter's difference.

"Lalabas ako, may ipapabili ka ba?" Nanghihinang umiling si Athena dito. She softly looked at her daughter na nasa mga kamay nito. Lumabas si Carious sa kwarto nito sa hospital.

Napasinghap si Athena nang padarag na bumukas ang pinto.

"Rafael."

"Athena," sabi ng huli at lumapit sa hospital bed nito. Hinaplos nito ang pisngi ni Athena. "Pwede ko ba siyang hawakan?" Naguguluhan man ay ngumiti si Athena sa kaibigan nito at binigay ang anak.

"She's beautiful," He said. "Our daughter is so beautiful." Nangunot ang noo ni Athena sa tinuran nito.

"Rafael, give me back my baby." Athena said.

"We'll live happily Athena. Kasama ng anak natin."

"She's not your daughter."

"Anak ko siya Athena, anak natin siya."

"Nababaliw ka na. Carious!" Sigaw ni Athena. Nagbabakasakali na marinig ng asawa nito.

"It's him. It's always him. Kung sa kanya ka lang din sasaya, papatayin ko na lang din ang batang ito. Magsisimula tayo ulit Athena." He said. Sinubukan bumangon ni Athen para kunin ang anak.

Rafael covered the child's face. Athena started to panic. The door open at mabilis na nakuha ni Carious ang anak dito. The nurses also entered as well as the doctor kaya napigilan si Rafael sa ambang pag sugod nito.

What happened left trauma on Athena. Gabi gabi siyang binabangungot ng nangyari at natatakot para sa anak. So she took the risk of killing her own friend. And that's when it all started.

After Athena's death. Carious began to lose himself also. Hindi ito makakain ng maayos at natatakot sa kung anong pwedeng mangyari sa kanila ng anak nito. The loneliness of Athena's absence ate him. And he became sick.

Then one day, Mr. Davis visited his chamber.

"I really treasure our friendship Carious. But it's my family we're talking about." Mr. Davis said and chocked him. Little did he know, that the kid Zephyr is watching behind the door.

She can't find her strength na pumasok. Natuod lang ito sa kinatatayuan. His father turned his gaze on her for the last time.

"Live your life happily. . . My princess." He mouthed.

Mr. Davis kept Zephyr and made her believe that the sickness is the caused of her father's death. She made her take the liqour that he experiemnted.

"Make your identity hidden, or they'll come after you. That's what your father's last wish."

"I'm impressed. You really did it. Just keep my grand daughter for now. She's not ready yet." Don Avello said to Mr. Davis.

"Son, on your way to school? It's your first day right?" Venus asked her son.

"Mom, why are you here?" Caius asked.

"Nothing. I'm just here to see you." Venus said. She smirked.

"It's your karma Athena. Watch your daughter suffer from hell."
