11. Sidney's House

You exit your last class period and put on your headphones and turn on your mixtape. You have been avoiding Billy because of the conversation that went between the group during lunch. Billy walks out behind you and watches you walk down the hall. As you are walking, you're tripped by a trio of girls.

The hallway starts laughing excluding Billy. "I'm so sorry!" They tease while laughing. "Maybe you should've watched where you were going, like you should've watched Casey and Steve" you look at them with teary eyes. You get up while the hallway is still laughing. You start crying and you run away. Billy stands there hopeless and sad for you.

You look at your mixtape. "Shit.." it was dented. You run out the school and grab your bike and hurry onto it until Tatum comes up behind you. "Hey? you alright?!" She asked. "I'm fine, leave me alone-" a cop runs by her. "Miss" he had a mustache and a sheriff's badge. Your heart races in a scared way. "Y-yes...?" "You're going to have to take a ride in the cops car on your way home due to all the curfews and what happened when you were there"

He had a sorry look on his face and so did Tatum. Can't this day get any worse? "Oh, okay..." he nods. "But my bike?" "Oh no worries, we'll put that in the trunk" "okay.." he grabs your bike and leads you to the car. Tatum follows behind you and hugs you. "Where's Sidney?" You asked. "Oh, she takes the bus home. Speaking of her, she gave me this and told me to give it to you" she hands you a piece of paper with her address on it.

You put it in your pocket. You sit in the backseat and Tatum sits with you since she didn't want to leave you alone. "My house address is-" "we already got that covered, miss" he says. "I'm deputy Dewey, but just call me Dewey, It's Deputy Dewey on the job" Tatum rolls her eyes at his joke.

"My brother, too" she said. Your eyes go a little wide. "Okay, then.."

Minutes Later

You are settling inside your house. You put your backpack inside your closet and you get a different sweater on. You're getting ready to go to Sidney's. You feel nervous. What if she wants to talk to you about what's going on between you and Billy? What if she wants to talk about what happened at Casey's house? What if it's just a set up? So many questions are running through your head.

You go outside and get your bike and ride to her house. You take out the piece of paper. "Okay" you start peddling there.

When You Got There

You finally arrive and wow. She had a nice house. You put your bike down next to her mailbox and head to her porch. You knock and she answers.
"Y/n!" She says hugging you. "Hi!" "Come on in!" You come in and take off your shoes by the door. "So, how's Woodsboro so far?!" She asked. Your smile fades a little.

Deja Vu

"So..!!!! How's Woodsboro so far?!" You sigh and smile. "It's okay.."

Back To Present

"You okay?" She asked snapping you out of your thoughts. "Oh- yeah sorry I just....just had a rough day I guess.." she frowns a little and goes to hug you. "I'm sorry.." you nod and hug her back. "But really. How's Woodsboro so far?" She says smiling a little. "It's okay.." your heart breaks into pieces. You missed Casey. It wasn't fair at all. "It's okay. So you said you wanted to get to know me more?" "Oh- no, I just wanted to hang out with you because if I were to say that, then Tatum would butt her ass into it" she says with a smile.

You sigh of relief. "Oh, okay" you both laugh. "Want a snack or drink or something?" She asked. "Um..well, if it isn't too much to ask..a soda maybe?" She shakes her head and points to the soda fridge. "Thanks" "anytime" you walk over to the soda fridge and get (whatever soda). She pats the other side of her couch for you to sit on. "Let's watch TV" she turns on the TV. The news pop up about Casey and Steve. You smiled a little when she skipped the channel knowing you were here.

She then stops it on a news report about Marueen Prescott and Cotton Weary. Her face expression goes shocked. You then realize. Oh, shit, that's her mom. You look at her and she turns it off. "I'm sorry about your mom, Sidney" you remember hearing about the news about it. "Eh..life.." she smiles sadly. You hug her tight. "Hey, um...so, what's with you and Billy?" She asked now facing you.

Oh, no, you knew she would ask this. "Nothing, he's just been helping me around today because I don't really know where the classes were" she nods. "Has he been nice?" You hum and nod. "Okay, well, I'm going to take a nap, you can look around and all that jazz" she turns off the lamp and lays on the couch. You go upstairs to find the bathroom.

With Billy And Stu

"Jeez, Billy, you just met her" "I didn't just met her! I've known her for over 6 god damn years!!" He argues back. "And has she known you that long?" Billy looks at Stu with a look saying 'can you shut the fuck up?' "No, moronnn!" Stu gets up and walks away. His mind was going crazy only because you were in it. He tangles his hands in his hair and groans. "Fucking Y/n..." he bites his lip and smiles at the thought of you noticing him and wanting him so bad.

He's even more shocked that you like horror movies but is also happy that you would probably have a motive. Now he's curious. "What's your motive, Y/n?" He mumbles.
