You and Sidney walk into the police station and sit down. You sigh with a breathe skipping. Tatum sits you down. "Are your parents home? Do you maybe want to call them?" Dewey asked. "They're on vacation..." he nods and walks over to Sidney. You startle when the door bust open and you turn around and see Billy in handcuffs walking in. His eyes land on you.
"Y/n.." you turn around and look down. "Sid!" He yells to her. You start crying. Tatum comes over to you and hugs you. "I want to go home..." you whisper. "Shh..I know..." Tatum says still hugging you. Sidney and Billy make eye contact.
Sidney grabs your hand to comfort you. You look up a little and see Billy looking at you. 'It wasn't me' he mouths. You shrug and stand up with Tatum, Sidney, and Dewey to leave. You walk out the door and see Gale. "Oh, gosh...." "there they are- SIDNEY! Y/N!" She yells running over to you both with a microphone and cameras. Tatum pulls you behind her.
"They can't talk to you!" Tatum yells. "No, it's okay, she's just doing her job, right, Gale?" Sidney said. "That's right" "so, how's the book?" "It'll be out next summer" Sidney grabs your hand and walks you guys away. "I'll send you a copy!" Sidney turns around and punches her. You laugh and run to the car. You walk slower when your shoulder starts to sting.
You sit in the car. Do I really like Billy? You thought. It shouldn't be a possibility, but it is.
