"Ah, ol' Wolvie... Got my healing factor from him!" Deadpool reminded everybody.

"Fascinating creatures. Rather threatening as well." Marie commented.
"Always liked the little guys." Carol grunted.

"Hey, liking that last name..." Beowulf mused.
"The fact that all these superheroes with badass names have just plain names like James always felt weird to me." Valentine murmured.

"Hmph... The sickly can grow to be powerful..." Eliza said resentfully.
"Had a kid like that at the orphanage... Slavers shot him dead because he didn't have any use to them..." Peacock said bitterly, horrifying everyone in the room not named Eliza. Even Double was disturbed.
"This... This can't be real..." Cerebella breathed. Would her family do that...? To a sick child...?
[Boomstick: But little James wasn't stuck in bed for too long.
Wiz: As he grew up, James started to develop mutant powers, which gave him animal senses and rapid healing.]
"Ironic for such an unassuming child to have such latent power." Marie noted.
"Guess the healing factor fixed up his illness?" Cerebella guessed.
[Wiz: But when the family groundskeeper Thomas Logan murdered his father, James learned he had a more lethal power hidden within.]
"Hmm? So he didn't discover his real power until he got really mad?" Umbrella guessed.
"Yep. People snap when you kill their loved ones." Nadia murmured.
[Boomstick: Retractable bone claws!]
"Ugh... Metal retracting in and out of your body hurts like a bitch..." Carol grunted.
Filia gave her friend a big hug. She smiled and leaned in.
[Boomstick: Old Thomas never knew what hit him. Or more specifically, what stabbed him to death.]
"Oh yes... It is more than a little shocking to expect a punch and get a stab instead." Squigly winced.
"Oh big time..." Nadia sighed. They both turned to look at Carol, who frowned.
"Self defense and brain control." She grunted.
[Wiz: But Thomas used his dying breath for the oh so original plot twist: I'm your father.]
"So the groundskeeper was cuckolding his boss?" Ben spoke.
"Cheater!" Umbrella pointed at the screen in an accusing manner.
