We then arrived to Chen's island. We
"Look at that. Awesome." Kai said
"Let me see." Karlof said
He then pushed Kai out of his way.
"Do you mind?" Kai said
"Welcome to Chen's Island. The Tournament of Elements welcomes its brave fighters." Clouse said
Garmadon then walks off first.
"Master Chen will be pleased you've returned, Sensei Garmadon." Clouse said
"The pleasure is all mine, Clouse." Garmadon said
"I'm sure it is." Clouse said
"Definitely feeling some tension between you two." Jay said
"Yeah, and how is it we're on an island I've never seen on any map?" Kai asked
"Not the first time I've been to an island not on any map."
'Yeah.'
"And care to explain how the face to Ninjago's most popular noodle house is secretly assembling an underground fighting tournament?" Cole asked
"I'd like to know as well." I said
"Master Chen used to be a friend. Now he's a traitor. During the Serpentine wars, Chen turned against his own kind and sided with the treacherous snakes." Garmadon said
"The battle that you and Uncle Wu fought together in? He was an enemy?" Lloyd asked
"He used deception to divide the Elemental Masters. We barely defeated the Serpentine, and in deal for his surrender, Chen was to never leave this island. Little did we know, he'd begin to build his criminal empire from here." Garmadon explained
"He may have divided our ancestors, but he's not gonna divide us." Lloyd said
Kai then pushed us a side and let Skylar pass us.
I sighed and kept walking.
"This is a big island. Zane could be anywhere. Keep an eye out." Cole said
The doors then opened.
"So this is the house that noodles built. Ha! Always wanted to go to a red carpet event." Jay said
"Chen lives like a King. Here, he's totally self-sufficient. The only way to get on or off this island is with his permission, which you have to earn." Garmadon explained
"You never told me about this place. How do you know so much about this island?" Lloyd asked
"Because before Chen was my enemy, he was my Sensei." Garmadon said
He then showed us an Anacondrai tattoo on his back.
We then walked inside.
"You never told me you had a Sensei." Lloyd said
"When I was your age, I sought darker means of guidance. He taught me how to win at all cost, no matter who I hurt. It wasn't until you saved me that I saw the light." Garmadon said
"Uh, apparently he also never taught you to have a sense of humor. Lighten up, we're in a underground fight club, This is supposed to be fun." Jay said
"I don't like this island."
'Same but we have to fight Zane.'
A gong is hit and it catches our attention.
"All rise for Master Chen." Clouse said
