Chapter 52 Kingdom Come

Y/n's Pov:

We walked up to a gate that opened when a dude walked over to us.

"Welcome to Cloud Kingdom. We've been expecting you." He said

"Ha, how are we..." Jay asked but was cut off

"Standing on a cloud? Easy, in other realms, there are other rules. I'm Fenwick. I've been asked to show you around." Fenwick said

"Nice to meet you, I'm—" Kai said but again was cut off

"Kai, yes, we all know. You're quite popular with the other monks. Up here, we see everything that goes on in Ninjago." Fenwick said

"Then you know—" Cole said

"You've travelled far for the Sword of Sanctuary. A powerful weapon that can foresee your opponent's next attack. It's also the second clue to finding the Tomb of the First Spinjitsu Master." Fenwick said

"Blimey! But how be you—?" Zane asked

"Finishing your sentences? I know, it's rather annoying, but up here we know, let's just say... we know what's going to come next." Fenwick said

"It is annoying that's for sure."

'Yeah.'

"Come, I know Morro isn't far behind. Follow me and I'll explain." Fenwick said

We then began to follow him.

Out of nowhere I felt my back start to hurt again which caused me to fall behind a bit.

"Hey, you alright. Is it the dragon blood again?"

'Yeah, it hurts more ever since most of my powers don't work anymore.'

"Maybe there's away to get rid of the dragon blood."

'Maybe. After all Ninjago is full of surprises after all.'

"Exactly, maybe we could try to separate the dragons blood and the curse mark from you."

'I guess it wouldn't hurt to try when this is all over.'

"Hey! Y/n, you coming?" Jay asked

"Yeah, sorry. Something came to my mind. Nothing important though." I said trying to lie about it.

Luckily he bought it as we arrived to a building as Fenwick opened the doors.

The monks gasped and started whispering as they saw us.

"I know you're familiar with a few of the realms. Cloud Kingdom is just one more of the 16 realms that exist parallel to Ninjago." Fenwick said

"Sixteen Realms?" Kai questioned

"In this realm, we strive for greater understanding and let go of distractions. There is no television, no video games—" Fenwick started to explain but got cut off by Jay.

"No video games? Hmph, not impressed." Jay said crossing his arms.

I then punched him in the shoulder.

"Ow." He groaned

"It's rude interrupt someone Jay. Besides this isn't are realm not all realms would be the same." I said

"It appears all any lad does here be writing." Zane said

"That is because here our words matter. You see, in Cloud Kingdom, we are the writers of Destiny. It was here that it was decided that Lloyd should be the Green Ninja and Y/n as the Purple Ninja. And just now, that Zane should find his voice again." Fenwick explained
