y/n's POV
We're currently in the last shop we could find and now I'm feeling hungry. Were looking at bandanas with these really cool patterns and stuff. He asks me "do you want one?" I was surprised by his sudden question. "Oh no it's fine." "you sure? it's on me." "Nonono don't worry about it." he looked at me blinking "absolutely sure?" goddamn it Hwang Hyunjin. Why you gotta look so cute? No, no I can't let him pay for something just for me. "Yes, I'm absolutely sure."
"I'll get one if you get one. We can get matching!" he was jumping up and down like a little kid when he said the last sentence. I couldn't hold back a smile, which he saw as he put his hands up in victory and started jumping around this time. "Which ones should we get?"

We picked out some cute light blue ones with intricate patterns on them. He payed for them and now we're steadily pacing down the little street. "I'm kinda hungry." I say to him.
"Me too. Where should we eat?"
"How 'bout that one over there?" I pointed to a cosy looking place with seats outside, covered by a tent sorta thing with petite LED lights surrounding it.
"Yeah, ok, let's gooo." Hyunjin said cheerfully and we started walking a bit faster to the entrance.
"Hello welcome to our restaurant." there was a waiter standing by the entrance. We greeted her back politely and she grabbed two menus and then spoke again, asking "do you have a booking?"
"No ma'am. Is there a table for two?" I asked her. "Yes, there are." she said softly with a light smile "inside or outside?"
"Outside please." Hyunjin replied to her.
"Here you go, I will be back in a bit for your drinks." and then she left. We made ourselves comfortable in our seats and scanned the menu.
My eyes eventually landed on the kalguksu. The description seemed fantastic so I thought I'd get that. Then I checked out the drinks menu and looked through the cocktails becuase I was feeling a cocktail that afternoon, you know. They all sounded so good but I had to get a piña colada, haven't had one in ages.
"What are you getting?" I asked Hyunjin after I was finished although he was still scanning his menu.
"I think I'll get a jjajjangmyeon and i don't know what I'll have to drink yet. What are you having?"
"I'm getting a kalguksu and a piña colada."
"Nice." he then proceeded to look for something to drink. Not even 20 seconds later, he pointed his finger up and said "ah!".
I looked up at him and we made eye-contact for a split second then he said "I know what I wanna drink."
"What is it?"
"Cojinganmek."
"Good choice."
He hummed in response and the waiter came hardly 10 seconds after that. We then placed our orders and waited for them to come while having a comforting conversation.
"So y/n..." he said calmly while locking eyes with me, smirking slightly which made me flustered.
"Have you even been to Jeju or is this your first time?" he questioned me, still with that calm tone.
"No actually, I haven't been yet so yeah it is my first time here and I'm loving it so far."
"Hm that's really good. I came here a couple years ago because my dad's business had an event here."
"Ah cool." I commented.
"Ooh, Hyunjin what's your MBTI? Sorry if it's a strange question I just really like asking people that because it allows me to get to know them better haha." I told him a little excitedly, dunno why.
"It's not that weird, don't worry. It's INFP, what's yours?"
"Mine's [your MBTI]."
"Haha really? That's nice." he smiled to which I smiled back.
He is such a wholesome person, I love that.
"Can I ask, are you into music?" that question made me a little happeir on the inside because this could mean he likes music too!
"YES! oh my God, of course I am!" I said a little too excitedly.

Hyunjin's POV
"YES! oh my God, of course I am!" hehe she's so cute, I couldn't help but laugh from it.
"That's so cool! What kind of music?!" I asked her.
"I just don't really like calm music, although there are some calming songs that I like." she said briskly.
"Haha, nice, I like that. For me, I don't mind whether its calming or not." and she hummed in response to that and then she questioned me "what's your favourite song at the moment?"
"Oooo uummmm, I'll say Julia by Lauv."
"Ah interesting."
"How bout you?" I asked her this time.
"Hmmm, I gotta go with [your favourite song(s)]."
"Oooohh, interestinggg." I commented.

y/n's POV
It felt like a really short time between ordering and recieving the drinks, but before we knew it, the waiter was placing both the drinks on our table. She asked us if we were ready for food, and we said yes, so we placed our orders then we immediately both took pictures of the drinks like some model photographers.
I think we all know this is going on my story. Speaking of which I should probably give Hyunjin my insta and other socials.
"Hey, I was about to post a pic of the drinks on my story then I'm thinking, hm, I should probably give Hyunjin my insta." I said chucking towards the end.
"Yeah, ok. What is it?" he asked me ready to type it in.
"[your username]."
"K I just followed you."
"K lemme check... Are you that one?" I asked him pointing at the top follow request.
"Yep, that's me" I then accepted his follow request and we continued chatting.
"Omo, I gotta tell you this. It's a common thing but this encounter was so funny. So our family went to visit our grandparents who, at that time, we hadn't seen for like over a year and we went into the house and my grandma saw my sister, gasped and was like 'y/n, dear you look so different' and I actually burst out laughing, I was on the floor, so then, I went up to my grandma like 'I'm y/n, she's Chaeryeong', and then she says sorry like a hundred times." I told him my little story and he was looking at me, looking like he was completely emerged into every single word I was saying.
"Ahaha! That's really funny. Can't blame her, your twins and she's a grandma. You know, not in a rude way, but yeah."
"Yeah your right." I agreed with him.
"If it's alright, could you show me a pic of your sister? You've really got me interested in how she looks." he asked me and I replied with a little "sure" and looked for some pictures.

Hyunjin's POV
A couple seconds later she held the phone so I could see it. She was showing me what looked like a family picture but she zoomed in on her sister, although I couldn't help but notice how similar all of them look, like you can really tell they're family.
"Here. That's my sister." she said pointing to her.
I let out a little gasp and commented "woooww, you two really do look nearly exactly like eachother. But I can tell the difference." they aren't identical after all ha. I pointed to a guy with freckles and nice hair, and I just had to ask her "that one's your brother right?"
"Yeah, that is my brother, Felix."
"Wow" I expressed, a bit muffled.

Her and her sister really do look like eachother, even if they're non-identical. Regardless, y/n has this aura that no one can match.

"Ooo can you show me a picture of your sister?" she asked me and I gladly agreed.
It took me a couple seconds to find a picture of Yeji, in this case me and Yeji. This time I was the the one to turn the phone so she could see it, zooming in on Yeji a bit.
"Woah.." she looked shocked "are you sure your not twins?" she joked.
"Haha no I'm sure."
"'Cause dang you two really resemble eachother in almost every way."
We lightly laughed for a few seconds after that, and then we ended up locking eyes...for a really long time.
It wasn't awkward or uncomfortable, it was...actually comforting and it was definitely making me feel some sort of way, a different way towards y/n.

y/n's POV
We locked eyes so we were just staring into eachother's souls. I never actually noticed how absolutely beautiful his eyes are. Really, they have the world in them. We stayed like that for a good 2 minutes until: "kalguksu?". So we broke eye-contact and acted like nothing happened, only because the waiter was there "o-oh, that one's mine." God why did I stutter?!
But, seriously, I'm sure, atleast, I hope that both Hyunjin and I must've felt something while our eyes were glued to one another.
