I was at the airport. So excited ngl. I haven't told anyone I was going to California, so I'm going to facetime Nessa to give her a clue.

Y| Somewhere, I'm going somewhere
N| Where? London? Mexico?
Y| SOMEWHERE! I'm not going to say anything,
N| Tell me, please!
Y| let's just say you'll be happy,
N| WAIT- ARE YOU COMING TO?!
Y| Idk, maybe, I have to go
N| OMG ALR BYE

I hung up and smiled. I'm pretty sure she got the message. Apart from that, I'm in for a 5 hours flight, great.

It's around 8 pm here in California now that I have arrived and the time is different bc of the time zones. I took an uber to my hotel and checked in. I was staying in San Francisco, and the hotel was decent. I got to my room and settled in and ate and watched TV till I slept.

Next Day

I had woken up very tired and jet lagged bc well it was a long flight. I got ready and dressed in a very casual but cute outfit.

I walked to Nessa's apartment which wasn't that far. I was listening to music, Greetings from California by the Neighborhood. I honestly love the music they make! And arctic monkeys.

"Omg, that's Quirky? What is she doing here?"
"Omg, she's here? that's so cool!"

"Hey Quirky? Can you take a picture with us?" I heard a couple of teens ask me.
"Um- yea sure," I said and posed as the girl took a picture. "Nice meeting you guys!"

They were giggling with excitement and I just smiled. Didn't know I would be bumping into fans, guess it was like a surprise. I got to the building and went up to Nessa's apartment and knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" I heard Nessa's sleepy voice ask.
"Guess," I said.

Nessa whipped the door open and we hugged each other.
"I knew it! I do glad you came!" Nessa exclaimed.
"I know, so I am!" I said.

"Come in, my roommate is gone, she's in London," Nessa said and I walked in.
"I forgot you're shorter than me," Nessa said and I rolled my eyes.
"Oh shut up, you're just tall," I said and looked around at how the apartment was. "You're apartment is so cute,"

"Thanks, I decorated most of it," Nessa said.
"My apartment is pretty empty, I wish I had your apartment rn," I said and sat down on the couch.

"Why'd you come? No offense?" Nessa asked me as she sat down next to me.
"Like is pretty boring in North Carolina, I just stream, film, and stay at home," I said.
"You have no friends there?" Nessa asked.
"Well, not really, I mean I can kinda count Karl, Jimmy, and ig Chandler and Chris, but apart from that, not really," I explained. "So I was thinking, I might move back here, to California,"

"Wait-really?" Nessa asked.
"Yea, even though I am gonna miss North Carolina, I'm still not sure," I said.
"Give it a while and think, don't make impulsive decisions, don't go back to being that girl from middle school you were," Nessa said.

"Oh yea, I don't want that," I said and laughed.
"Anyways, wanna go out and have fun?" Nessa asked.
"That's what I was gonna ask you! Go get ready!" I said.
"Fine fine!" Nessa said.
