Sungjoon woke up, finding himself, laying on his bed with his father beside him, watching him.

"Dad..."

"Are you okay? Your uncle Jungwon found you, sleeping on the playground." Sunghoon worriedly said, caressing his son's hair.

"What?" Sungjoon began to panick, leaving his bed and Sunghoon squinted his eyes in confusion, asking, "where are you going?"

"To Mom."

"W-What are you talking about?"

"Uncle Jungwon was lying. I was with Mom, we were with Mom." Sunghoon sighed as he thought, the kid must've miss his mother so much.

"You should go back to bed and take a rest."

"No! We need to go to Mom, she's sick! There's a big hole in her chest, she needs us, Dad." Sunghoon stared at his son and weakly smiled. Half of him wanted to believe him, but his half is telling him that it's just pressure... Depression indeed.

"Let's go back to bed, okay?" A tear fell from the kid's eye as his father, carried him back on his bed.

"You don't believe me, do you?" Sunghoon gazed over his son and, seeing his tears made him realize something.

Am I losing hope?

"Dad, I'm not dreaming, I saw her, I heard her, we talked- she said she doesn't want me there because she might die anytime and she doesn't want me to witness it... Dad, she said she still loves you." He smiled, wiping his son's tears.

"Really? She said that?" The kid nod, sobbing.

"Do you still remember the way there?"

As soon as they arrived, the two went inside the safe house, rushing as if their life depends on it.

"Hello!? Is anyone here!?" Sungjoon shouted, wandering his eyes around.

"Do you still remember which room is she?" His father asked and the he nod, running towards the room, he went in earlier.

But when they opened the door, they were welcomed by silence.

The whole room was empty, even the bed was neatly arranged.

"W-what..." Sungjoon entered, rubbing his eyes, making sure that he wasn't hallucinating.

"Are you sure you saw her here?" His father asked.

Sungjoon was about to speak but then he saw a big box, filled with many things. He crouched down, first picking the folded papers and stared at it. He soon realized what is it and he couldn't help but to shred a tear. His father also crouched down beside him and gazed at the box.

It was a box of full of memories. The papers, Sungjoon had in his hands are the letters he gave her every holidays. Valentine's, Mother's Day, Christmas, and especially on her birthday. Everything is on repeat, year, after year until he grew up.

He didn't expect to see those letters cause he thought, she threw it all. There was one time he saw her throw it in actual, but he was surprised it was there. All his letters were complete.

Sunghoon on the other hand found a collection of pictures. A picture of her and two years old Sungjoon, smiling together. A picture of them three, he was sleeping while Sungjoon drew on his face and she was silently laughing.

He felt like he couldn't breath.

"Mommy! Denshrudgend camera!"

"What, baby?"

Sunghoon turned over his son to see him watching something on the camera and moved closer to take a peek.

"Jejshfru camera."

The screen was showing Sungjoon's tiny legs but their focus was on the audio.

"Oh..." They heard her chuckled.

"You found your Daddy's camera."

The screen glitched as a hand took it.

"This has been aged so... I brought this on our first anniversary when we got together cause I know he loves recording everything. I even thought he'd be a photographer one day." She giggled.

"Oh, it's already recording." Her face flashed on the screen and gave the camera back to Sungjoon. The baby laughed at himself as he saw his two teeth and the two who's watching couldn't help but to laugh.

Soon, after playing with the camera, the two years old Sungjoon abandoned the camera, still recording and audio went silent for a moment.

"Mommy!"

"Yes, baby, do you need something?" The baby grinned and hugged his mother. The camera was covered by the blanket, but the shadow shows it.

"Why so sudden?" She confusedly asked.

"I wab you, Mommy..."

There was a long silence before she could reply.

"I love you too... My son."

Y/N who's listening the same audio heartily sobbed as she thought, Sungjoon must be so happy after hearing the words he always wanted to hear.

"Let's go." Ni-ki interrupted and wiped her tears. "The chopper has arrived."

They're leaving the country.

She nod, hiding her phone and followed him inside the chopper.

As soon the chopper flew, Y/N gazed below at her country and a tear rolled down through her cheeks.

Memories will stay memories... Forever.
