The rain began pelt upon the snowy community of Ariah Village. villagers were hurriedly getting their stocks and supplies into their homes so they don't spoil and become unsellable. Meanwhile, I was readying myself for the most important heist of my life, my heart palpitations were through the roof, my sweat was forming fat beads upon my head that trickled down to my chest. I went over my plan bit by bit, thinking over the different places Alcina could be and imagining the vent system that'll become the safest way in and out "I can do this" I mumbled, watching Alcina make her way back into the castle gates, into the safety of her own home. Clunk, Clank the iron gates groaned with a squeak.

This was my chance, I began to stealthily creep towards the mansion. My tiny footsteps snapped and crunched in the snow as I made my way closer to my designated destination, the wind ahead blew blisteringly cold as if a warning sign to not travel any further. I pushed at the Large Iron gates Creeeeeaaaakkk The doors moaned out once more as I made my way into the castles front yard. I quickly leaped behind a tree realising Alcina had not yet entered her castle. "I smell a little rat" she grumbled then shook her head "probably the villagers nearby" She continued her journey onto the castle door Slam

I snuck towards the door tiptoeing to make as little to no noise as possible, I pushed open the door quietly, poking my head around the door to check the coast is clear. I then slipped into the castle quickly, sighing of relief I took in scenery around me. Before me, stood a large hall of two floors, four cream pillars stood proudly lit by Luminous candles, the walls were decorated in cream white paint and golden intricate patterns that spread across the interior of the empty hall. Two oak doors stood on either side of the walls and another passage way through to another part of the castle stood on the right hand side near the other door.

A large but short staircase lay ahead of me, leading to an even larger room, I stumbled up the steep steps, a red and white carpet with patterned ends coated the middle section of the pink oak steps. I got on my hands and knees peeking my head up, my eyes widened, my chest tightened and my heart thumped loudly for her causing my blood to rush around my body. There, Alcina Dimitrescu sat on a cushioned sofa by the crackling fire, the fire brought out her side profile in proportional details. A wide, crow black sunhat was perched atop her raven locks, covering most of her hair.

I sighed quietly and crawled on all fours towards the couch she was sat, I placed myself behind her. Alcina stood, gulped the last of her crimson beverage "Maiden! Wine!-" she demanded "Maiden I command more- oh for godsake I forgot there was no more maidens ugh!" She arose and stormed off to the wine cellar, exiting the opera hall like area. I peered around at the new location to the left of me a grand , oak wood staircase lead upstairs to the second floor, the glossy wood shone in the candlelight. Above me a graceful, glass chandelier hung elegantly in mid air, illuminating the green wallpaper and pine wood decor that seemed to be a running theme so far.

Two statues of knights stood proudly either side of the flickering fireplace, above which a balcony sat silently, I peered behind the couch seeing another set of oak double doors. Two other doors stood behind me opposite each other staring lifelessly at each other. Beneath the grand oak staircase stood a white vase laced with golden patterns, beside the vase stood a small table with two chairs and a a fine china teacup on a china dish. I stood slowly and stealthily crouched over to the table, looking into the china cup, stained crimson liquid lay as of it was a sea calm before a storm. I dipped a finger in and licked it "W-was this blood or wine?" I shuddered softly and dropped the teacup Smashhhhhh The china cup was a wave of glass shards spilling all over the floor "CASSSAAANDRAA WHAT WAS THAT!?" Alcina yelled storming in as I made a dash for it under the staircase "What was what mother?" Cassandra asked sluggishly standing on the top step "You mean you didn't hear or see the smashed tea cup?" Alcina growled "No mother I was listening to music and reading" Cassandra yawned "Oh well I do apologise dear but please can you and your sisters search the grounds ? I think we hat a rat" Alcina winked "of course mother we love a chase!!" Cassandra giggled
