CHAPTER THREE PODS
Rae was never a bright child, but when it came to Pod races she was all for it.
"Hey Ani!" Rae greeted as she walked up to Anakin and his Pod "hey, R2D2 and C3PO." She greeted the two droids, a few kids had made fun of Anakin's pod saying that it wasn't good enough for Pod racing "don't listen to them Ani, they're just jealous that you're racing!" Rae said as Jar Jar tried to fix something but failed and zapped himself
"Hey Jar Jar, keep away from those energy binders." Anakin told Jar Jar "if your hand gets caught in the beam, it's gonna go numb for hours." Jar Jar accidentally stuck his head into the beam
"My tongue is fat." Jar Jar mumbled, before saying some other gibberish
"You know, I find that Jar Jar creature to be a little odd." C3PO told Rae and Anakin
"You and me both, C3PO." Rae said shaking her head with a sigh
"You don't even know if this things gonna run." One of Rae and Anakin's friends said
"It will." Anakin said as he hoped in his pod
"I think it's about time we found out." Qui-Gon said as he walked towards the pod "here, use this power charge."
"Yes sir!" Anakin said excitedly
"Come on, Rae, let's move away." Qui-Gon said taking Rae's hand
"Hold on." Rae walked over to Anakin "good luck Ani." Rae gently kissed the boys cheek before moving away
Anakin started the engine as Rae crossed her fingers hoping the pod would work, and it did.
"It's working! It's working!" Anakin shouted in excitement, Rae smiled proudly as Shmi watched from a far, Rae quietly walked over to Shmi and gave her a tight hug
"He's gonna be ok. There's people there to protect him and he knows Pods like the back of his mind." Rae said with a slight smile, Shmi smiled back
"Thank you." She said quietly before walking back inside, Rae smiled again before heading over to Anakin and giving him a hug
"I knew you could do it!!"

Later that night, as Rae slept she kept having a dream...
"Anakin! Stop! Stop! Come back! I love you!" Rae said with tears filling her eyes
"Liar!" Anakin shouted as a figure walked out of the ship that Rae had arrived in

"You were my brother, Anakin! I loved you!" A voice spoke as fire surrounded the area

Rae woke with a start, her face dripping with sweat and she was breathing heavily with tear stained eyes.
Anakin came rushing in after he heard the crying.
"Rae? What happened?" Anakin asked sitting down next to his best friend
"I-I had a dream..." Rae said slowly "you-you turned to the dark side, and did terrible things that I can't even imagine you doing.." Anakin side hugged Rae
"Rae...it was a dream I would never leave you." For once Rae didn't believe him, there was a look in his eye that told otherwise, but Rae just nodded before Anakin left and she tried to go back to bed but her mind kept going back to those dreams and she started to think that maybe they weren't dreams but,
