CHAPTER EIGHT GOODBYE, MASTER
Rae ran up to Anakin and immediately engulfed him in a hug.
"I'm so glad you're ok!" Anakin chuckled as he hugged her back
"You aren't getting rid of me that easily."
"Rae.." Rae turned around at the familiar voice of her older brother, she ran over and hugged him as tears streamed down his face.
"Where's Qui-Gon?" Anakin questioned, Obi-Wan stayed silent, Rae's mouth dropped as her eyes filled with tears.

"Now, viceroy. You're going to have to go back to the senate and explain all this." Padme spoke before a guard walked forward
"I think you can kiss your trade franchise goodbye." The guard leaded them all over to a ship as The Chancellor stepped off
"We are indebted to you for your bravery, Obi-Wan Kenobi. And you young Skywalker." Rae looked down feeling like she hadn't done enough to become a Jedi "and of course young, Kenobi." Rae looked up
"But..I didn't do anything." Rae spoke clearly
"And that's what's so great about you, you're a listener not a follower." The Chancellor brushed past to two young Padawans and walked over to Padme
"Congratulations on your election, Chancellor."
"Your boldness has saved our people, your majesty. It's you who should be congratulated. Together we shall bring peace and prosperity to the Republic."

Qui-Gon's funeral, a day that young Anakin and young Rae never thought they would witness at such a young age.
Qui-Gon was being cremated, they sat around the fire as Qui-Gon was being cremated.
"What will happen to us now?" Rae asked her brother
"The council have granted me permission to train you. You will be a Jedi, I promise." Obi-Wan reassured the two younglings, they both turned back to the fire, Rae rested her head on Anakin's shoulder, her eyes growing heavy until eventually she passed out due to exhaustion...
