That's it, get under the blanket.

He looks up at me with curious eyes, awaiting my next move.
For a man that claims to be such a straight-edge, you gave into the idea of being in bed with me rather quickly.

Mama was right. Even the most educated man can be converted into a lustful dog if their sexuality is even slightly involved.  No discipline nor self-governance. Only selfish desire.

I snuggled my body further into the sheets, looking at him innocently, "See?" I cooed, "Isn't this nice? What're you so worried about?"

"It's not that I'm worried, it's just that...don't you feel weird being in the bed of the guy you work for?"

"Well, if you put it like that, then yeah it sounds strange. But, I don't just see you as 'the guy I work for'. That's Dr. Kazem. Right now, you're just Zaain to me and I feel comfortable when I'm with Zaain." I move closer to him under the blanket, "Is this too close... or is this weird to you?"

"No, that's...that's okay."

I start to move even closer, "Tell me when it's not okay anymore,"

He doesn't say anything as I approach him but I can feel his anxiety peaking.

We're nearly chest-to-chest when he suddenly snaps, "That's enough, stop it!"

"Zaain, wait," I say softly to calm him down.

"No, get up right now," he gets up from the bed, "All of this is wildly inappropriate. I think you should leave, Miss Adebayo."

Miss Adebayo?

But, I don't need to protest. There's already a crack in the dam.

"Alright..." I try to sound as upset and pitiful as possible, "I'm sorry if I crossed the line, I was just playing around. I'll just... I'll see myself out."

I rush out of his room and start gathering my things together.

Three.

Two.

One.

"Adeola, wait," Right on time, "I'm sorry, I didn't want to sound rude, you don't have to go."
