I've recently seen that this book was rated #1 in the Palestine tag.
Although the rating will most probably change eventually, I thought it only appropriate to make this statement.
I started writing this story before the Israel-Palestine conflict recently escalated into genocide.I knew about the conflict beforehand though and have always supported Palestine's liberation.
In fact, it was important to me that Kazem be Palestinian because I like to put underrepresented cultures in my books.I won't delve too much into politics here but I recommend you all to educate yourselves on the matter if you haven't already and know that I stand for justice and with Palestine.
