Chay arrived in his room after training and closed the door behind him banging the back of his head against it. How could he be so stupid! Saying that to a member of the mafia, someone who is training him no less, he should have expected nothing less than the intense workout he received afterward. Looking down at himself and the sweat-drenched clothes he was still wearing, he went to his closet and sighed as he still found only the assortment of formal attire. He discarded the problem of what to wear and went straight to his bathroom going into the cabinet and picking out some products to use. He placed them on the shelf in the shower and took his clothes off before hopping into the shower starting the water, shivering at its initial coldness.

He let the water cover his skin, washing away all the sweat he produced at training, wondering if would be like this every day. He knew he had just started, and it probably would be, but he couldn't help thinking Macau drilled him so hard on his first day as a result of him mentioning his childhood. He should have just kept his mouth shut and gone with whatever he had planned. If Chay was being honest, when he first saw Macau and Porsche confirmed he was going to be his trainer, he thought he looked quite young to be put into the role. However, considering his background, growing up in the mafia, he must have a lot of experience with fighting.

Chay still didn't entirely agree with his brother's decision to have him trained by someone in the mafia, especially someone so closely tied to the Minor family, but he trusted him, and besides, Macau didn't seem like someone with any bad intentions. Yes, he was closed off, which was to be expected from someone in that world, but he seemed to really care about what others think. He could see it in the way he treated him throughout the training session, even after he closed off and drilled Chay, he never made him do anything that he knew was too much for him or made him uncomfortable.

In fact, he had been surprised at just how considerate Macau was, especially when Macau adjusted his stance and worked his way up his body. Chay could tell he was making sure only to touch him when necessary, trying to distract him by talking about what he was doing. It was a sincerity that he didn't know someone could have, especially someone in the mafia. Chay couldn't help but think about why someone in the sort of work he was in, would be so considerate of him, especially since he is meant to be training him to fight. Thinking about Macau's background and what he imagined it would be like to be growing up and fighting here, he realized Macau might have been overcompensating for how gentle he was being since he didn't want to teach the way he was taught.

Chay leaned against the wall of the shower and groaned in embarrassment to himself as he remembered voicing his view. Shaking off his thoughts of Macau, Chay grabbed one of the products he picked out and started washing his hair and body quickly finishing his shower. After exiting the bathroom, a towel around his waist he collapsed on his bed, so soft it almost swallowed him. He closed his eyes and let his mind wander as he thought about the last few days that had changed everything. Hiding out at Yok's bar, finding bodies blocking the exit, his brother becoming head of a mafia gang, moving to the new apartment, and his trip back to his home yesterday.

When Chay arrived at his childhood home, he could only stare at the house that he had so many fond memories of, memories with Porsche, and memories with Kim. He pushed away the emotions threatening to consume him, the ache that began in his chest and walked up to the house. As he looked around the living room, Chay couldn't help but relive the memory of him looking up in adoration of Kim as he gave him a guitar. Remember how he felt waking up next to Kim on the couch where they slept the night after he confessed to him, thinking Kim returned his feelings, how naïve he had been back then. He ripped his eyes away from the lounge room and made his way up the stairs and to his bedroom.

He looked back at the guards following him, 'I can do it all myself', he said going into his old room and closing the door behind him softly. He rested his forehead against the door, trying to soothe his aching heart. He had known it would be hard to come here alone, or at least without Porsche, but not this hard. He turned around and looked at his bed, purposely avoiding the opening to the other room, not ready to handle that yet. He went over to his shelves and looked over everything, wondering what to bring to his apartment before grabbing a few pictures and going back over to his chest of drawers. He looked at all the books on top of it and grabbed 4 of his favorites before putting everything on the bed and getting all his clothes out.

Chay gave the guards outside his room the 2 suitcases he had packed all his clothes and belongings he wanted to take in, before closing the door once again. Chay took a deep breath and paused, mentally preparing himself before turning to the small alcove leading to the rest of his room. He walked over to the opening, looking at the couch and beanbags before laying his eyes upon his desk, or rather everything above his desk. A dull pain filled Chay's chest as he took in the many photos he still had up of Kim. He had been in this room after he had had his heart broken, however, he could never bring himself to take down the wall of photos he put up in the days he hadn't known him, the days when he was just a singer Chay idolized when he was just Wik.

He looked down at his guitar in the corner of the room, underneath the signed shirt that was hung up, and slowly, went and grabbed it. Chay tried not to think of the person who gave it to him, as he went to his desk and opened a drawer of sheet music folders, grabbing them as well. He thought he may as well take all of his music stuff if he wasn't going to come back here anyway. He started walking out of the room before stopping and looking back giving it all one last glance before turning away, leaving it all behind.

Chay gasped, opening his eyes to find only darkness. He reached to the side of his bed feeling around for the switch to the lamp on his bedside table. Finding it, he switched it on, illuminating the room in dull, warm light. Chay took another breath to calm his racing heart. He looked around the room, his eyes adjusting to the darkness, oh yeah, he thought, I'm still at the Minor house. Looking out the window, he could tell the sun had long since set. Chay got up from the bed, readjusting the towel around his waist, and went to the bathroom, getting his phone which he left there. Turning on the light, he looked around, finding it on the clothes he had dumped on the floor before his shower. Grabbing it, he went back to his bed and sat down checking the time on his phone, 11:23.

Looking around at the dark, unfamiliar room, Chay knew he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep here. He went on his phone and organized a taxi before going to his closet. He looked into it and sighed, remembering the formal wear making up the entire clothing options. Reaching in, he grabbed the least flashy thing in there, a white shirt and black dress pants along with some shoes since he couldn't find his anywhere. He got dressed and looked towards the painting in the corner of the room, tempting, but not the right clothes for it, besides, Porsche forgot to even tell Chay the password. Grabbing his phone, he left the room and made his way to the front of the house.

'It's been 10 minutes, what's taking so long, 'Chay complained into the night, his leg bouncing in nervousness as he checked the time on his phone once again. Chay jumped at the sound of a motorbike taking off down the road and he let out a breath, laughing at his own nerves. He looked down the street again, this time seeing headlights as the taxi pulled up to him. Smiling, he got in, sat back, and looked out the window at the night view as he always does. Chay opened the window, enjoying the cool night air as he went. When he finally arrived at his apartment building, he thanked the driver and made his way up to his apartment. Fighting off sleep the entire trip, Chay was glad when he collapsed on his bed taking off his shoes and going under the covers.
