Two weeks had breezed past the future prime mover in rapid time. Juggling her Latin classes with her attempts to grow closer to the Cardinal proved stressful. It was obvious that Latin would never be her strong suit and Sister Imperator tired to coax her with false hope. But it had been a straight month of struggling with the language for her to realize it wasn't going to get any better. However Sister felt it would be best to keep that from Copia who was overjoyed that Dahlia was trying so hard.

Copia had shown her a lot of kindness during their breakfast meetings over the last week. This was Sister's attempt for them to grow closer but mostly it was filled with awkward back and forth questions. Still it was nice to make a friend within in the abbey even if that person was her future husband. However that growing friendship was stunted when Copia had packed his schedule with nonstop rehearsals and meetings. Dahlia hadn't even seen the ghouls running about especially after how excited Cirrus had been with their new masks. Finally, their mouths were uncovered and Dahlia could better understand their emotions better now.

It also didn't go unnoticed to Aether how dejected the woman had been and he had a sneaking suspicion the fire ghoul had a part in it. Due to them overworking, all of the ghouls had been held up with rehearsals and afterwards would sleep until the next morning. Aether felt a little relieved that Dew had little time to prey on the future prime mover. He figured with the time passing that his interests would diminish and he'd move onto the next sibling begging for him. However that didn't mean the fire ghoul wasn't giving all of them a hard time, especially when it came to Copia. He was defiant more than usual, stomped off the stage and had even managed to set a part of the stage on fire last week. Aether had managed to reassure the Cardinal that it was close to their cycle and afterwards, things were going to be completely normal.

But Aether was running out of excuses himself and at this point, he was sure this way beyond normal behavior for Dewdrop. Something was wrong here but he couldn't put his finger on it.

Dahlia Amato had just finished another disappointing lesson and had leaned against the corridor wall to take a few deep breaths. There was no way she could continue on with failing at a language that her future husband desired her to learn. She knew it would potentially disappoint him but it was better than wasting the sisters time.

"Why so glum sweetheart?" Her disappointment simmered down at the sound of Swiss' joyful voice. It was nice to see someone smiling so brightly after this lonesome week. Swiss definitely had one of the best smiles she'd seen and was glad that it no longer was covered up.

"I completely suck at Latin, Swiss. I doubt I'm ever gonna get it." He could tell the woman was in a sour mood and his tail flickered in excitement. Swiss knew just the trick to get someone cheer up and it wasn't something sexual this time. Not that he'd attempt anything, Dahlia was going to be a married woman and Dew had already tried to put a claim on her.

"What if I could get you to forget about your Latin classes?" Swiss crossed his arms behind him while rocking back and forth on his heels. Her eyebrow raised in curiosity at the prospect. Forget about Latin? Dahlia was for it no matter what it was, well with some boundaries for sure.
