Sister Imperator was extremely strict when it came to rehearsals that were growing closer to upcoming tours. Plus with Cardinal Copia soon being anointed as the next Papa Emeritus, Sister was keeping a very close eye on things. One screw up or toe out of line and the woman would be causing an uproar. Even with the upcoming cycle just hours away, the ghouls were trying to be on their best behavior. Except for Swiss and Dewdrop of course to Aether's disappointment.

According to Swiss, Dew had made a slick comment that got shit stirred up again. So the moment they entered the rehearsal room, both of them were trying to out do each other while failing miserably. Copia was trying to sing loudly over them playing their guitars obnoxiously, Aether was trying to break the both of them apart half the time. It was a complete mess while the Imperator raised an eyebrow in concern. She wasn't sure if the cycle was causing the competitive nature in them or there was something left unsaid in the room.

"Huh I wonder if maybe Dahlia would be interested in keeping my bed warm tonight." Swiss managed to slide past Aether to make the snide comment to his brother. Dew's tail began to flicker angrily before his eyes narrowed, shooting Swiss daggers at the mention of his mate.

"I will personally rip you into shreds if you even touch her, Swiss." Dew stomped over to his brother who was walking casually back to his post. He even had the audacity to laugh off his comment while Aether stepped in front of Dewdrop. Copia had stopped singing while awkwardly watching the interaction between his ghouls. Thankfully for Dew's sake, the Cardinal or the Imperator hadn't heard a word of what was said. At least that was what Aether was hoping for with Satan's help.

"Dew, drop it. Can we just get back to rehearsals?" Aether held onto his brother's shoulders, pleading with him. Dew shook him off before returning to the right of the stage with irritation coursing through his veins. He couldn't believe Swiss would ever go as far to assume mating with his mate. Granted, they had shared multiple partners in the past but Dahlia was different and he knew better.

Dewdrop wanted nothing more to leave rehearsals that evening already but now he really couldn't have cared less. The Cardinal was pissing him off already with every time he sung and made awkward jokes. If it wasn't for him, Dew could've proudly shown off his mate to the whole clergy.

Everything had to be so secretive for the meantime and it wasn't exactly fair to his mate or him. One of them would be bound to slip at some point, most likely him. With the cycle starting tonight, Dew knew it would be even harder for him this week. He was already having problems keeping himself calm with the thoughts of knotting his mate that night.

Cirrus had warned him adamantly about not completely the bonding process with Dahlia until things could be fixed. That's a heavy if on if all of them could fix this one. They weren't prepared for one of them mating with a prime mover. Aether was still scratching at this horns on ways to go about it.

"I think we should take it from the top on Cirice." Sister Imperator interjected, Copia strongly agreeing at the suggestion. Dew groaned internally tossing a pick on the ground in frustration. They'd already been practicing for hours, Dew was ready to get back to his mate as soon as possible. He imagined most of the ghouls were ready to release the pent up frustration.

Copia strutted across the stage the entire time and the ghoul was trying to keep a safe enough distance for the Cardinal's sake. With the cycle coming, Dew was determined to mark up every inch of Dahlia's body to show off that she was his. Even if that meant Copia seeing it and Dahlia having to come up with some ridiculous excuse to avoid trouble with the Imperator.

Dew would've even loved if the Cardinal walked in on them while he pounded her pretty pussy. Her moans just calling for the ghoul, eyes rolled back and covered in his cum as Copia would stare in shock. The thought thrilled him causing Dew to angle his body further from them to hide his hard on.

Especially if he would've been able to throw his ring back into his face. Ghouls weren't the type for unholy matrimony and it left him wondering if Dahlia did want that just with the right person or ghoul. Dew felt like he could've made that exception for her unless this forced marriage scarred her permanently.

Come to think about it - seeing Dahlia wearing a ring from him and sealing an eternity together officially didn't seem that awful. Dew never really believed he'd find his mate especially in the abbey on all places. Ghouls rarely found their mates without living centuries alone, fortunately he got lucky. He'd only gone though several, wrecking havoc and spreading pleasure wherever he could find it.

Now Dew just had Dahlia, which monogamy had never suited him, but Satan had made her just for him. Most ghouls lived eternally unless their fate stated otherwise but his mate was human. He wasn't sure how they'd get around that but now that Dew had her, there was no way he'd let something as cruel as death rip her away.

Ghouls could barely spend time away from their mates without some frustration. Letting their other half was practically killing the both of them. Dew was shaken out of his thoughts by Aether who was gesturing to Copia and the Imperator leaving.

"We've had worse rehearsals but Dew and Swiss, you're both in time out." Aether groaned while setting his guitar down on the stand. Those two would be the death of him that he was certain for.

"Time out? What am I a child?" Dew scoffed while following suit as Aether. Swiss was hopping down from his post alongside Mountain who was twirling around one of his drumsticks.

"I know this is hard to believe but I agree with Dew." Swiss playfully gagged at his confession as Dew glared at him, stomping a foot down in his direction. Swiss held his hands up in mock defense in case the fire ghoul was ready to pounce on him.

"Enough you two, please. Now our cycle starts tonight so just try to be careful, I'm mainly meaning you Dew." Aether knew the others wouldn't be too harsh on any of the sisters if sought out. But now with Dahlia being in the mix, who knew how that could go but Aether wanted to believe that Dew was smart enough.

"No promises!" Dew smirked while sauntering off the stage towards the double doors. Aether didn't want to make assumptions but in his head, he was preparing for all of their beheadings.
