The thunderstorm outside wasn't putting Dahlia at ease like it normally would. Usually the rain soothed her whenever she'd feel anxious but it was unnerving her this morning. Sister Imperator had called her down for a meeting and her nerves were all over the place. Could she had found out about last night? It wouldn't surprise her if Sister would kick her out of the abbey for letting Dew finger fuck her at game night. Dahlia had a duty to the church but was instead being distracted by a ghoul with an attitude problem who set stages on fire.

Dahlia took some deep breaths in and out before knocking on the Imperator's door. There was no way that the woman had eyes and ears everywhere, did she? Granted Aether seemed really upset over the interaction but she doubted he'd go to the Imperator about it. That would possibly bring many problems for the ghouls and that was far from what she wanted.

"You're right on time, Miss. Amato." Sister gestured for the woman to come inside the dimly lit office. There was no telling how she got her work done in such a dark room even with the candle on her desk. Dahlia shook the silly thought out of her head before taking a seat across from the Imperator.

"It's lovely to see you this morning, Sister." Her attempts to remain calm didn't go unnoticed by the woman across the desk. The Imperator would've assumed Dahlia would be in high spirits with how much closer they were getting to the ceremony. But instead she seemed anxious and kept glancing around the room.

"There's no reason to be nervous, Dahlia. I just wanted to over some dates with you for the ceremony." She tried not to show how relieved those words made her. If Sister knew about the little incident last night, she didn't show it on her face. Still the thought of the wedding made the anxious feeling bubble back up inside her. Her wedding was just months away and all she knew about her husband was how much he loved rats. That and he loved tricycles especially his new one that was gifted to him that had a bell .

"Oh yes, of course." It was always good to remain very positive with the Imperator, no matter how upsetting the news. Sister had been adamant on the ceremony being held at midnight and in October, a little nod to one of the darkest months of the year.

"It sounds wonderful, Sister. Thank you for your diligent planning." The Imperator had obviously been very pleased with Dahlia's agreements to everything. Her life was perfectly planned right in front of her and she couldn't even say no. Trapped was an understatement, she'd soon to be chained to Copia for the rest of her life. Her heart sinking as she stepped outside of the office, the tears welling in her eyes.

If there was anything in this cruel world that could help at the moment was coffee. Dahlia found herself a seat next to the window to watch the rain while she took another sip. The lunch hall was relatively quiet in between meals except the occasional sister studying. Her mind was racing with thoughts about how her wedding would go. Would her father at least be there to walk her down the aisle? Would anyone attempt to stop the wedding? That was an obvious no but Dahlia couldn't help but wish that maybe Dew would try to have a say on it.
