Dahlia Amato could've bashed her head into the nearby wall after suffering through the Latin lesson masked as breakfast that morning. Copia was incredibly sweet to let her borrow the very generous stack of flashcards stuffed into another recommended book. But now there was a pounding migraine starting and the lack of sleep wasn't helping in the slightest.

Not to mention, Copia had noticed her slightly nodding off and was determined to assist her 'insomnia problems'. The little white lie wasn't far from the truth, Dahlia was having problems getting to sleep when Dew was determined to make her cum at least three times a night. He didn't necessarily need to a full nights rest to stay alive unlike his counterpart. Granted Dew did need rest to somewhat function through rehearsal to appear no different to the Cardinal.

Now that she was awake however after two cups of coffee, it seemed pointless to catch some extra sleep. Instead she decided to take a trip to the library to find another book about the ghouls after loosing the other in the gardens. Dahlia was hoping someone found it, returned it to the proper place and she'd be able to finish it before Sister knew she lost it.

"Ah Dahlia! Wait for us!" The shouting from down the corridor made the woman jump in surprise.  Turning around, Dahlia watched Cirrus and Cumulus racing down to meet up with her. It was a pleasant surprise to see the ghoulettes after mass a few nights ago.

"Hello Cirrus and Cumulus, how are you le signore?" Dahlia was pulled into a crushing hug by Cirrus who was ecstatic to catch up with the human. Not to mention, the curiosity was eating at the ghoulette after seeing Dewdrop that morning. His tail had been wagging excitingly like a puppy and a shit eating grin on his face. Not even one smart ass comment which could mean rehearsals later would go by smoothly.

"We're wonderful, of course. We were wondering if we could join you wherever that might be?"  Cumulus was equally curious about how this small human could cause such a shift in the fire ghoul. Usually his sessions with the other sisters left him unsatisfied but not with this one. If anything, Dew actually seemed satisfied for once.

"I was just going to the library, you're more than welcome to join me?" Dahlia gestured to the double doors at the end of the corridor. Both of the ghoulettes followed closely behind even as the woman chose the seat closest to window for the warmth. They both sat across her on the couch unsure of which one would break and ask the human first. Dahlia hid behind the book knowing their mischievous smiles meant they had something to ask of her.

"You can ask me whatever it is, you know?" Her soft laughter echoing the quiet library as the two pointed at each other back and forth, seeing who'd crack first. And it seemed like neither of them would budge before Cirrus opened her mouth quickly spouting out the words.

"How are things with Dewdrop? Is he satisfying you enough? If not, you can tell us and we'll kick his ass back to hell." Cirrus' questions causing the woman to blush and drop the book into her lap. There was no beating around the bush with the ghoulettes, was there? Both of them were leaning forwards in anticipation and excitement showing in their smiles.

"Things are going well and um yes he's very good." Dahlia tried to distract herself with twisting the ring on her finger back and forth. Cirrus nudged Cumulus while laughing at how shy the woman was getting from the pink across her cheeks. Both of them thinking of seeing how far they could go in embarrassing her before she would race out of the library.

"We've heard he's very skilled with his tongue, is that true?" Cumulus tried to hold back her laughter as the human's eyes bounced around the room. Sex didn't bother Dahlia but the fact anyone could just walk in on them and with Dew being mentioned, things could be brought to the Imperator's attention. The only person she should've been fucking was Copia but the thought made her incredibly nauseous even if he was an attractive man.

"Yes he is." Dahlia admitted under her breath as the ghoulettes smirked, so far their little tricks were working. Cumulus giggled alongside Cirrus as the human looked puzzlingly at them.

"We've all heard about how Dew is in bed so don't feel embarrassed. But in all seriousness, you've brought a very different side to him." Cirrus had been surprised by how less feisty the fire ghoul had been that morning returning from the human's room. Usually he'd be fighting with Swiss over something utterly stupid or throwing picks from across the room at Aether. Or something was being set on fire purposely.

"I'm sure I have nothing to do with it, I'm that shiny new toy he's breaking in that's all." Dahlia dismissed the entire thought being tossed around. From her understanding, Dew wasn't someone who was committed to anyone in the clergy and wasn't the type of ghoul who would do so. He enjoyed giving pleasure to a multitude of people, Dahlia was no exception and soon enough he'd find another sister to entertain him.

"You're kidding, right? Have you not noticed how Dew is around you?" Cirrus was certain now that the human hadn't completed her required reading about ghouls. There was obvious signs to the ghouls at least minus Mountain perhaps that Dahlia was Dewdrop's mate, human or not.

"He acts like he wants to eat me, Cirrus." She laughed while thumbing through the book Copia gave her. Honestly she might've let him if it meant not marrying the Cardinal at this point.

"It's really important that you finished this book, Dahlia. It'll explain everything." Cumulus had grabbed one of the copies of the history of the ghouls passing it down to the woman. Being a ghouls mate wasn't easy for any human but being Dewdrop's? Frustrating to say the least unless he continued being as calm as he'd been that morning.

"Our cycle begins tonight at midnight. This is when our primal need to mate will be very high and Dew will seek you out. Just hopefully he won't be too rough with you..." Cirrus made a mental note to discuss things with the ghoul. This would after all be his first cycle with his mate and he'd most likely want to officially bond with her. Cirrus was hopeful that he wouldn't be that stupid considering the engagement and Sister keeping an eye on all of them. They knew she was sort of suspicious about Dew missing rehearsals and acting rather harsh towards the Cardinal. Bonding with Dahlia would make the situation ten times worse for everyone involved.

"Dew has a whole clergy to entertain during his cycle, I'm sure I'm safe." Dahlia grimaced at the thought of him seeking the other sisters. There was nothing wrong with enjoying multiple partners but she was honestly hoping Dew could stay satisfied with just her. Even if he said sweeter things last night, Dahlia was still highly doubtful. It could've been his upcoming cycle screwing with him even if the thought broke her heart just a bit.

"Dew may just surprise you. We must get ready for rehearsals but thank you for letting us join you!" Cirrus and Cumulus bounced up to wrap Dahlia up into a warm hug before leaving the library. Her eyes trailed down to the book they'd given her before taking a deep breath and opening it up to the chapter she'd left off on.
