Dahlia Amato is arranged to become Cardinal Copia's prime mover. However it seemed Dewdrop had different plans and it was hard for her to say no to him.

"I don't understand how you can be so calm about this." Sister Imperator was furious. Her anger towards Dahlia Amato had been somewhat squashed prior but now she was being requested by Cardinal Copia to cancel the wedding? Did he not understand the intricacies that went into the preparations?
"I understand, Sister but I don't want to marry someone whose clearly in love with another person." Cardinal Copia tried to put it lightly but Sister Imperator scoffed at his words. It would be cruel to tie someone down whose attention was elsewhere.
"This isn't going to look good to the clergy, Cardi." Sister Imperator huffed, plopping back down in her seat. The wheels in her head turning on how to punish the woman for disobeying clear orders. There was no way Dahlia would get away unscathed in this after humiliating all of them. However it was best to make the Cardinal believe everything would be fine, just that it would be an inconvenience to stop the wedding.
"It would look worse to make her marry me when she's one of the ghouls mates. He'll tear me apart if we go through with this." Cardinal shuddered. There was no telling how Dew would act once the ceremony would begin but he had a sneaky suspicion he'd be dead by the end of it.
"You want them to stay in the church unpunished?" Sister Imperator knew better that Cardinal would simply let the two go. His heart was sometimes too pure for this role but eventually would harden over time like herself.
"I don't see why not? It was of course not the best way for things to turn out but I can tell she really cares for him. Dew hasn't been the same during rehearsals." Cardinal just wanted things to go back to normal. He was already dealing with being anointed as Papa in the coming months and this fiasco.
"I'm not happy about this but I will assure you everything will work its self out. Perhaps we can find someone better suited for you." Sister Imperator appeared completely calm to Cardinal for someone so upset over the matter. He knew deep down he should've felt worried but wanted to give her a chance. Perhaps it would all blow over in the week and the church would calm down with no questions asked.
"Well okie dokie then! I have some paperwork to finish, if you don't mind?" Cardinal waited for Sister to wave him off before departing. Her calm demeanor cracking as the door closed behind him. Dahlia would pay for humiliating her, for being disobeying simple orders. It would be too easy to get rid of the woman considering nobody in the clergy was close with her other than the ghouls. But Sister knew where their loyalties lied in this situation other than Dew but he'd be easy to manipulate for her benefit.
