After an hour of talking over every detail and planning out everything they could think of, Rick lets Dwight go. You weren't sure if Rick would believe him or if Daryl was going to hall off and kill him before he left, but they let him go. You listened to a lot of their plans but after a while, you couldn't listen anymore, Dwight admitted to everyone in that cell that Andy could be a problem and could turn against them. You left after Rick spat out that they would kill anyone that got in their way.

When you see Dwight walking out of the basement with Rick and Daryl stopping right outside of the building, you walk towards Dwight. He sees you coming and you can hear his sigh as you start to walk next to him.

"Walking with me probably isn't a good idea, they seem to not like you and they don't trust me either, we're a duo they won't like."

"I just want to ask you about my brother." He starts to walk a little faster. "Do you really think he'll stand with Negan?"

"With how he's been acting, it wouldn't surprise me-"

"What do you mean?"

"Andy has been drifting closer and closer to being an actual Savior." You look at the ground as you continue to walk next to him. "He used to have something to fight for, but I think he's lost that."

"He's letting himself become a monster because he thinks he has nothing to fight for anymore?"

"I think it's more that he thinks no one is fighting for him anymore." Dwight opens the door to his jeep, but pauses and looks at you before he gets in. "Listen, he tells me a lot of shit, and from what he's told me none of the people back at Hilltop care about him anymore not even you or JJ or whoever. He's trying to survive and in order to do that he's letting himself change."

"And you think he's going to go as far as going against all of us and helping the Saviors?"

"Unless someone can talk to him or something, yeah, we'll probably have to kill him along with everyone else." He puts his hand on your shoulder, "I'm sorry, (Y/N), truly."

Dwight climbs into his jeep, but before he closes his door, you ask; "Can you talk to him for me?" Dwight gives you an annoyed glance. "I know it's probably risky for everyone here and in Hilltop for you to talk to him about any of this, but he has to know that we're going to fight and that we're all trying to take Negan down so he and everyone else in that place can go home."

"I don't know-"

"Please, Dwight, just tell him that JJ and I still care and that we're fighting for him."

He just nods as he closes his jeep door and starts its engine.  You watch as he drives up to the open gate, then as Rosita closes it.

. . .

(Simultaneously)

Rick and Daryl watch as Dwight starts to walk to his jeep. "We just started it," Rick says then looks over at Daryl, "the whole thing."

"If he's lyin', I'm gonna kill him real slow."

Then they both see you walking towards him and continuing to walk with Dwight. "That'll be hard with your girlfriend being friends with him." Rick slightly chuckles at the end.

"I don' care." Daryl's voice is cold. "When this is all over, I will kill that some bitch."

Rick starts to turn to walk away when Dwight gets in his jeep. "Either way, this could already be over." Daryl drops his glare and looks toward Rick. "With (Y/N), Dwight, and (Y/N)'s brother knowing we could already be doomed."

"Whatcha mean with (Y/N) knowin'?" Rick stops in his tracks and glances back at Daryl. "(Y/N) wants Negan dead just as much as the rest of us, maybe even more."

Rick lets out a small laugh. "Really? She is like his pet, who does whatever he says and bends to his will." Everyone around them is staring. "She is friends with saviors and has told some of them parts of our plan already." Daryl holds himself back from hitting Rick, making a tight fist in the process. "Hell, she's probably slept with Negan."

"Fuck you, Rick." With wide eyes, everyone looks just past Rick and finds you standing with crossed arms and a glare plastered on your face. "Just because I'm part of the deal Hilltop made with the Saviors and my brother is at the Sanctuary doesn't mean I'd go against any of you."

Daryl's fist lightens a little as he watches you stand up for yourself, which he knows you've never truly done before.

"How can we really believe you?" Tara asks from where she's sitting on the steps of a nearby house.

"Do you trust me, Tara?" Daryl asks, to which she just nods. "Do all of you trust me?" Everyone nods, including Rick. "Then it should trust me when I tell you that (Y/N) is with us."

You look at Daryl and smile at him, and he does it right back.

Michonne walks past Rick and up to you. "Do you want Negan dead?"

'Do I?' Your eyes shift to look at Daryl. He has wanted to know your answer to that question since you got back from the Sanctuary if your views of Negan have changed. You look back to Michonne and say; "Yes, I want him dead more than anything."

"Do you think your brother or Dwight will tell the Saviors what we are planning?"

'Dwight for sure not, but Andy... he hates me as far as I know, but would he risk the lives of everyone in Hilltop because of that?' You blink through your thoughts. "No, I trust my brother and Dwight at least want Negan dead."

Michonne nods and gives you a slight smile, then turns to face everyone else. "She wants Negan dead and she trusts two Saviors. If her brother and Dwight betray us we know who to kill," you pop your finger out of place at the sound of her words, "but until then she's here to help, so accept it."

With nods from everyone around, and Rick not protesting at all, everyone slowly starts to disperse. Except for Daryl and Jesus, who stay with you. You let out a breath you didn't know you were holding and basically coware to the ground.

"You okay?" Jesus asks as he looks down at you.

"I'm fine, just never really done that before." You pop your finger back into place and take a few steadying breaths.

"Well, on the bright side, you did well for standing up for yourself." Jesus chuckles and offers a hand to help you up. You just nod at him as you get to your feet.

"And every one should leave you alone." Daryl smirks at you.

"Good, but you guys do know that I don't really know anything when it comes to Andy, right?"

"Yeah, we know," Jesus says, "but he's not going to do anything to hurt innocent people, so he should be fine."

"Com'on," Daryl starts walking down the road, "let's worry 'bout that t'morrow."
