As the saviors finish loading up the trucks outside of Hilltop's gates, Jesus quickly and quietly drops down from the top of the wall. He lightly lands on the roof of the truck, when the saviors that were putting stuff inside of it move to get into the truck Jesus jumps down and quickly runs to jump into the back of it. Upon his entry, he sees the case of scotch, that Gregory grudgingly gave Simon. Jesus opens one of the bottles takes a swig then starts dumping it out the back of the truck. As Jesus goes to put the empty bottle back into its spot in the box, he almost jumps when he hears a kid say; "Hey."

Jesus looks up to see Carl sitting towards the front of the truck with most of his body hidden behind boxes. Jesus can't help but smirk.

. . .

Time goes by as Jesus continues to dump some of the scotch out and continues to cut slits in the sides of the boxes so when the saviors pick them up the bottoms will fall out. Then the truck comes to a stop on the side of the round. As the weight in the front of the truck moves so do Jesus and Carl. They sit behind the boxes towards the front of the truck. Jesus keeps a steady grip on his knife while hoping that they don't venture to where Carl and he are.

Jesus doesn't pay much attention to their conversation until one of the men says; "warfare, idiot. Those demo sticks from the run last month, the RPGs from the new guys." Jesus tries to think about what they were originally talking about. "All right, it's a trickle. Let's go."

The men jump off the back of the truck and go back to front and start the engine. When the truck starts to move so do Jesus and Carl. After cutting a slit in another box Jesus looks out the back of the truck to see a statue. He looks for something to make a trail started from that statue. He finds a bottle of syrup.

As the truck swerves around stopped cars Jesus turns to see Carl looking at him with a confused look.

"Making a trail." Jesus turns back to look out the back of the truck again, "I think we're close." The truck swerves around two more cars. "We should bail out, follow the rest of the way. See what we can see."

"I, uh- how?" Carl asks from where he stands further towards the front of the truck searching through different boxes.

"It isn't usually the fall that gets us. It's trying to fight it. Run with it or roll with it." Jesus glances back at Carl. "The truck's going slow enough." He looks out the back of the truck to look at the cars and junk in the middle of the road, "We'll be in the blind spot. We can race behind one of the other cars."

"I-if I screw up we'll get caught-"

Jesus quickly turns to look at him. "It'll be fine." Jesus continues talking as he turns back to the road. "We just got to go now."

"Okay, show me first."

Jesus nods, sets down the bottle of syrup, and jumps off the back of the truck ending in a roll. When he stops rolling he quickly stands and runs behind a piece of scrap in the middle of the road so the saviors inside the truck don't see him. He waits to see Carl jump out and do as he had done, but instead he just sees Carl wave out of the back of the truck.

Jesus sighs, realizing that the kid had played him, he smirked at the kid's wittiness. "Show me first." As the truck turns a slight corner Jesus runs into some of the shrubs off the side of the road.

. . .

You've stayed in your room for most of the day. You know Jesus would be gone for a day or more, just scoping where that truck took him too. And with him gone you truly have no one here that you trust.

It's sad to think that the closest people you had to you were your brother and Jesus, but it's the truth. Now, they are both gone, Andy for the foreseeable future, and Jesus if he's caught you might not see him again either.
